The Canadian international borders are open and all inbound passengers including students must be fully-vaccinated before entering into the nation. The second requirement is that one needs to have taken the doses of only the recognised vaccines by the Canadian Government. As of November 2021, the approved vaccinations are Moderna, Pfizer, Astra Zeneca, Sinopharm, Johnson and Johnson, Sinovac, and COVAXIN. But according to the Government’s press release, there are plans to add more companies in the list of approved vaccines. The exempted passengers include the family members of Canadian citizens, work permit holders, permanent residents, professional athletes, and essential service providers. Those who are partially vaccinated will still be allowed to enter Canada but they will follow the tests and quarantine guidelines. All non-exempted and partially vaccinated individuals will remain prohibited from travelling to Canada.
