First US Education Advising Centre Opens in Yushin, Singapore, on November 19

In order to educate more students in Singapore about the American education system, the first US education advising centre has opened in the city of Yishun. Opened on November 19, Education USA will offer academic consultation to students who are interested in pursuing their higher education from an American college or university but hesitate in filling out an application because of their cosmic fees. The objective of the consultants is to provide students with the right information about the best institutions that are well within their means. Affaires Rafik Mansour from the US Embassy Charge, XCL Education chief executive, Brian Rogove, together with Hsien-Hsien Lei, CEO American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore have opened the centre. Over the last few months, the US has observed an increased number of applications from aspiring students. All three officials believe that the centre will create life-long relationships with students: our future leaders who will organically take the responsibility of tackling the world’s toughest problems.
