ISA Welcomes Back The International Students By Throwing A Party

On Friday, Sept 17, the International Student Association (ISA) held a welcome party for bringing together the university's international student population. ISA also launched a new website and held social activities including musical performances by Nafis Imtiyaz (guitars), Luis Bernardo Castro Sanchez (Cello), Weeratunge (Vocals). The university's commitment of "keeping the international students' safety and well-being'' was affirmed by the ISA, LSUPD and Student Government members at the event. The newly launched website aims to connect students with the resources to help them with their studies and also provides information related to local housing. The director of international student engagement, Laura Dean, said that she is very excited to see all the international students connecting. She further added that international students can consider this place as their home away from home. Students were assured that they will receive the best support while pursuing their studies at the university.
