South Australia is considering re-opening the border to regional Victoria. As greater Melbourne is still in lockdown phase, but the residents from the regions are allowed to travel. They must get tested and isolate themselves until they get the results of being negative. The border is to be opened only for the Victorians living under the range of 70kms of the state line.

Victoria reports five COVID cases which are locally acquired. Two of them were recorded a previous day and another three are detected in the hotel quarantine. For approx. 17, 538 test results were received and around 15,000 vaccines dose were monitored during the reporting time.

Travel bubble arrangement which was started between New Zealand and Victoria has been paused due to the pandemic. That latest guidance was updated overnight. The pause will continue till 17th June, Thursday for further updates. For the pre-departure test PCR or RT-PCR teats are preferred. According to the set of guidelines if you were in Victoria after 7:59 pm (NZT) on 25th May, then you can fly to New Zealand. This is allowed from any other Australian state but you must carry the evidence that you have tested negative in the pre-departure test in the last 72 hours.
