Stanford University Acclaimed As The Number One Progressive Education Provider In The US: Survey

Degree Choices, a website platform where students can find information about colleges and universities, has ranked Stanford University as the leading progressive education provider in the US. The University of California, Cornell University, Yale University, and the University of California are the rest of the institutions in their list of top five progressive universities. Surprisingly, Harvard University was ranked 6th as compared to the previous year in which it was among the top three universities. The company’s 2021 report has surveyed a total of 38 education providers in the US and were ranked on the basis of five factors: inclusivity, health and well-being, sustainability, diversity, and freedom of speech policies. Ory Weihs, founder of Degree Choices, says that the rationale behind ranking colleges and universities is there should be a supportive campus culture in which the campuses can ensure a positive environment to foster student development across various areas. He finds hope in this study and is confident that it will help thousands of students to make better academic decisions.
