Acquisition analysis for Myer and Thomson

This acquisition analysis have been prepared to evaluate the acquisition entries which needs to be recorded in the books of accounts. The Myer Company has acquired all the issued capital of Thomas on 1st July, 2018.

Before computing the acquisition amount, computation of the goodwill have been given as below given table. However, two methods named fair value method and proportion share method have been used to assess the goodwill value. Fair value is used to assess the goodwill value.
