Illicit Union: Scientific Racism in Modern South Africa

Race is not very much associated with the roots and the origins, but to have a strong vision to see how the humanity within the world forms us. Defining race is all about defining the questions like ‘where do we come from’, ‘Where are my roots’, and so on. According to Nixon (1994), the urban black North American people have their own cultures and beliefs. Many South Africans still have their thoughts about anti-apartheid.

Steve Biko and Nelson Mandela are the brave leaders who fought and worked as the anti-apartheid supporters who refused to become the slave of the history. They were dreaming of a different future. They believed that the South Africans are not originated by their cultural heritage but grow from their practices to change the present for a better future. There are diverse cultures all over the world. God has created everyone with no discrimination with love and blessings to become more developed and civilized (Dubow, 1995; Frederickson 2002).

Steve Biko had a firm belief that the people of black culture will raise their generations differently and will train them to manage their feelings within the diverse world. According to Fanon, Race is majorly dependent on the political and social struggling (Fanon, 1986). According to a report in The Guardian, the violence race is a major topic wherein it is vital to understand the fact that “No Race possess the domination of beauty, intellectuals, force and the energy inside the people all of them have an equal right on freedom and on victory, there is a room for every one of us regardless of their colour” (The Guardian, 1st October 2005).
