Alignment of PACE Activity of The Employee with 4 Aspects of Virtuous Networking

Formulation of one’s individual goal is necessary to build the pathway he/she cherishes. Every individual and organisation carries values; mutual understanding and cooperation will allow collaboration and value alignment thus resulting in less conflict of interest. Channelizing one’s network to build better communication among work and peer circle makes the person transparent and much acceptable for the view he/she carries.

Working in BT as Data analyst has made me self-resilience to maintain Quality, meeting deadline and focusing on minute details. Primarily working on quality requires consistency and in depth analysis. Visualizing every task assigned before and monitoring its details to get optimum result gives me an upper hand over others. Thus working with good faith makes thing easier. During training interns I share my personal as well as professional experience. I do share as much information and resources so that every individual get the benefits of fairness in learning (Mele, 2010). Every work culture emphasises on better work environment and employee satisfaction this can only be achieved by better leadership and employee self -behaviour towards the organisation where he/she works.

Thus values imparted by leadership should be justifiable and will have symmetrical relationship on employees too. Being agile, I don’t have any conflict of interest with the management rather they trust me as a dependent employee and ask for suggestions thus exerting myself in a position for influencing within the network ( Mele, 2010).Having a strong commitment to work and understanding the moral and ethics of BT will always give my nature a push of tolerance and integrity. I am flexible and understand teammates thought process which makes me unbiased, easy to approach and reliable person thus complimenting me of any emergency and contingency advocacy plans from the organisation.

Moral understanding, valuing individuals competency and consistent to change makes me an ideal person for virtuous networking in any organisation.

Below is the understanding of virtuous network with my PACE activity.

1. Acting with good faith- (Quality)- Effective implementation of set of procedure to perform a task.

Acting with good faith-(Details) - Working on minute details so that results don’t get impacted. I am detailed to work.

Acting with good faith-(Meeting deadline) - Completing work in a stipulated timeframe. I don’t believe in delays or extensions.

2. Sharing information & resources- (Quality) - I only provide information which is verified and from trusted sources.

Sharing information & resources – (Details) – I am very specific to details hence every work I do have detailed orientation, which gives clarity to work.

Sharing information & resources – ( Meeting deadline) – Providing people information in short span of time so that they can utilise it for their benefits.

3. Serving with justice in asymmetrical power relationship- (Quality) – Being fair to one self and others and maintain a healthy relationship will all stakeholders.

Serving with justice in asymmetrical power relationship- (Details) – I speak in details to anyone who approaches me irrespective of their designation and role in the organisation.

Serving with justice in asymmetrical power relationship-(Meeting deadline) - Being time bound to the person whom I committed whoever he/she is.

4. Exercising a +ve ethical influence within the network- (Quality)- Always believing in a healthy 2 way communication for better networking with valuable suggestion.

Exercising a +ve ethical influence within the network-(Meeting deadline) – I myself encourage people to be loyal and finish task in the given time.
