Can the Government Force People of Australia to Get Covid-19 Vaccine Under the Law?

Over a period, with the development of institutions and medical research professionals, vaccinations had become a part of the protection of health and prevention of society against biological threats. In opposition to this prevention procedure, various anti-vaccine movements have emerged, which questions the legitimacy and purpose of the mass vaccination. I stand against the motion of the government imposing vaccines on its people as it violates human rights and individual rights. Legally, the government can impose whatever it wants on its citizens and with the rise of COVID-19, it has already shaped an individual’s liberty, freedom of movement, and rights. 

The reason why I am against this is that it withholds, individual’s right to self-determine about his or her health, body, and life as well as of their children. It violates nature's rule of self-healing, causing insufficiency to react to severe disease. It violates religious freedom as some of the religion believes vaccines contaminate the blood. And many times, through many pieces of research it has been concluded genetic disturbances due to vaccines (Grzybowski, et.al, 2017). What surprised me through this debate that people being convinced by our notion and innate knowledge of the law and human right by my team mates.
