Clayton UTZ is the leading Australian law firm. It is the leading law firm in Australia because it engages people and provides compelling results. As an Australian leading firm, the company knows the expectations of the client and company strive to meet the expectations of the client, it does not matter for the firm that the client is from Australia based or some other country across the world or the clients are from foreign countries but doing small businesses in Australia. The company engage their client by being responsive, listening to clients properly, and also understand the structure of the business, objectives and goals, the law firm offer practical and logical advice to the clients anytime they ask for. The firm is also taking care of the wellbeing of the client and the staff members by following all the norms and social distancing guidelines. The business is taking all precautionary measures that help in reducing the possible risks of COVID-19. All the businesses have some issues, in the same way, Clayton UTZ firm does not have the forensic team in the office. So, this is the issue for the law firm and to address the issue. Clayton UTZ is a law firm so the business must have a forensic team in the organisation and investigations should be carried out with the help of regulatory and also build compliance programs. The firm will build a team of forensic to preserve all kinds of regulatory and fraud investigations and create compliance programs (Dror et al., 2016). This will also help the firm to cut the reliance on outsourcing to the Big Four accounting firms with the help of this latest which is blurring and helps in splitting among professional services firms.

There are different issues raised in the Clayton UTZ firm because of the absence of the forensics team. Various criminal cases can be addressed only with the help of forensics. It is mandatory to have a forensic team in the law firm. There are various types of cases in which the firm needs the forensic department.

Importance of Forensic Science in Clayton UTZ Law Firm:

Forensic science is one of the critical aspects that play an important role in all kinds of criminal investigations. It will help in allowing the authorities to perform all the activities with related to the incident of the crimes and also helps in determining exactly how and when a crime has happened and that too identify a suspect positively. As per the national institute of Justice, it is the application that takes helps from different sciences and applied these sciences in the matter of law, it is also used to match the DNA of a person, it also helps in understanding the scattered blood samples, and also helps in learning, how to fix the unidentified drug. Forensic science will help the firm in getting more clients and more clients will come to the firm and it also helps the firm in increasing the consumer base. With the help of forensic science, the Clayton UTZ law firm can evaluate the physical evidence more appropriately and can feel more confident about making any decision regarding criminal cases or any other cases. In addition to this, the evidence which is generated from the forensic science can be used before the court to support the proof or evidence that is admitted at trial (Thompson et al., 2017).

If the crime is related to sex, DNA can take from the victim and the result of that helps in convicting the perpetrator.

In all the crime-related matters, generally, most of the weapons are used that help in committing the crime. Forensic science also helps in testing weapons. There is another science, apart from forensic is ballistic. Ballistic also helps in understanding the usage of guns, and how a gun is used at the crime scene. If the person knows the ballistic then this person can tell how many shots have fired, and the position of the shooter, and also the timings of the shooting (Kassin et al., 2017).

Recommendation and Conclusion on Interpretation of Statistical Evidence

The report described the Clayton UTZ law firm hat what issues the firm was facing in dealing with different types of cases and how the lawyers of the firm were not able to deal with some criminal cases. The team of the lawyers was not able to deal with some criminal cases because of the absence of forensics department in the firm., now the form recruited a forensic team in the firm to deal with all types of cases and that too very efficiently and effectively. There are some recommendations for the firm that the firm should also recruit the people who know ballistic science. So it is recommended to the firm to have the ballistic team also with the forensic team so that the firm can solve all kinds of criminal cases in which both the science can be applied, the forensic science and the ballistic science. Forensics also help in dealing with the cybercrime, so after recruiting the forensic team, the firm can also deal in all the case related to cybercrime.
