The challenges for the managers to look for the, when motivating the staff and strategies are as follows-:

  1. Communicate-: If the employees are motivated, so would be the customer’s services would be better. The employee's goals in the service-oriented place are to focus on providing the best services and be transparent. As identified, the business strategies are to provide high business customer services with good quality products, the company employees should be trained. For example, what is the quality in the product such as cotton, which fabric, colour or trends and then initiate a discussion with the customer. With the engaging behavior, an employee can convert the potential customer into the sales lead. To know what is the issue which an employee is facing, the likeliness of the cause and the issue and the accurate steps to reduce the conflict can be through the better interpersonal skills.

 A manager should choose an appropriate skill, styles, tone and behaviour that could provide an influential in the way to resolve the problem. The communication has to be transparent, dynamic and engaging. The challenges in the communication faced can be lack of the brand knowledge and inadequate knowledge of the customer preferences, change in trends or simply low decision-making skills (Xing, 2017).

Resolve conflict-: often the employees are facing the conflicting situation when handling the effectiveness customer attributes for this, the manager must identify the conflicting ideas such as the lack of the knowledge of the brand, having a low training and low guidance in the on the job training.

To increase the customer experience, the employees should be blend with the rich culture of the company (Ritter, 2020). In case of the situation conflicts or the conflicts in understanding, the manager should intervene and provide a resolution.

  1. Manage performance-: Employee productivity is the growth of the organization growth and increases productivity. To manage the performance, the employee per sales per customer conversion can be judged. The manager can motivate the employees by providing remuneration and incentives based on the employee’s performance (Sheehan, 2016). The demotivating factor can be here if the employee is disinterested or shows the lack of the contribution to the performance, the manager needs to evaluate the performance such as if it is the knowledge-based disciplinary behaviour issue or maybe some quality concerns.

  1. Handle protected employees-: To protect the employees, the meagre must understand timely have the formal and informal meetings, to understand the employees personal and professional growth.

Even if the employee is staff within the store, the manager should have the professional growth plans, be it training, development, some certification that can help the employee to show more interest and be more engaging in production (Seijts, 2016). For example, the sales staff can be taught about the SCM certification, to keep a tab on the inflow and the outflow of the precut.

  1. Administer policies fairly-: if the employees can face conflicts in the policies and for the company, it is important to train and mentor policies (Ritter, 2020).

Training can be for the policies, such as code of conduct within the company store, adhering to the national legislation etc.,) with the best interest.
