Social and Cultural Factors
Social and cultural factors experienced by Joseph, Maria, and their family are financial hardship, employment opportunities, gender discrimination, and health issues. These are the factors that impact the life of Joseph, Maria, and their family. As per the case study John and Maria lost their job and they now job less which highly impact their financial condition (Çakıcı et al. 2017). They are now unemployed and in the community, there is no such job opportunity which helps to get employed. Apart from this, the job opportunity for women is less as compared to men so it is very difficult for Maria to search for a new job in this discriminative environment. In addition they are now facing health issues such as sleepless nights which may lead to affect them physically as well as emotionally. Due to a lack of education, they are not able to find an appropriate job that fulfills the needs and requirements of them and their family members.
The organizations that will help them are the Viamirah Food Processing and The Manildra Group. These are the two organizations that can be referred to as Joseph and Maria. As this organization belongs to the same sector from which Joseph and Maria have from the previous organization (Ibeneme et al. 2017). They have good experience in this field and both have excellent experience in this filed so the changes in job opportunities are high for them. The organization wants experienced people in their staff so the chances of getting employed in that organization are high. Apart from this, these organizations also employ female employees who have the potential to perform best for the organization. Apart from this, it is also noted that these organizations also hire people as per the experience they have in the same sector. So this will be very helpful for Joseph and Maria to accomplish to get employed in these organizations and eradicate the social and cultural factors that they are facing in day to day life. In addition, by getting a job in these organizations they can easily manage their family needs.
These organizations follow the guidelines provided by the government and then implement the strategies as per the guidelines. No gender discrimination has been observed in this organization and all the members of the organization adhere to the policy. It will be very easy for Maria to get adjusted in this environment (Yang et al. 2018). Apart from this, Joseph and Maria and gained immense experience in the food processing plant so it will be beneficial for the organization to give them employment. In terms of financial hardship, the organization could pay them as per their wages received in the previous and the skills they have. However, the organization may also offer them a variable job opportunity department as per the experience they have in past years. Apart from these organizations also ensure to provide all the health care benefits to the employees. This will help them to prevent them from health issues.
The changes that each organization can do in order to provide to Joseph and Maria as alternative support is by giving them proper training so that they can understand the working culture of the organization and by paying them well. Apart from this, the organization can provide different job opportunity to the clients which help them to motivate themselves so that they perform best for the organization. In terms of financial hardship, the organization could pay them as per their wages received in the previous and the skills they have. As long term unemployment leads to an impact on other financial conditions of the client they may not be able to meet their needs and daily requirement (Abraham et al. 2016). The organization needs to pay them wages as per the experience they have in the previous organization. Social and cultural factors experienced by Joseph, Maria, and their family are the financial hardship, employment opportunity, gender discrimination, and health issues so it is the responsibility for the organization to support them

The functionalist perspective theory refers to the theory that views society as a multifaceted system in which each part of its work composed to endorse unity and constancy. This theory views society from a macro-level alignment. It widely emphases the social edifices that figure society as in one piece (Turner 2017). As per this theory, gender inequalities appear in the community is one of the efficient ways to progress a separation of labor. Functionalism states a society as in one piece in footings of the function of its constituent elements such as norms, customs, etc. However the gender roles, as per the functionalist perspective likely to be beneficial so that they can contribute to steady social relations, numerous contend that femininity roles are prejudiced and should not be encouraged in the society. These systems give the opportunity to the clients like Joseph and Maria to raise their voice inequity, discrimination, unrightfully things, etc. The human right system is the hope for the people to stand up for the right thing and complain against any awful act (Abraham et al. 2019). Apart from this, the government plays an imperative role in the eradication of all kinds of social and cultural facts that impact the life of an individual. However, the government launches various policies for the people like Joseph and Maria who are facing financial hardship and other social issues. The government and human rights system play a cardinal part for an individual who faces social and cultural issues in the organization or any other place.
