Indoors: Making of projects and models on the environment. It can also be done by making a working model on the ecosystem and change in the environment in the classroom itself. That shall increase the knowledge about the environment and interdependence between people, plants, animals and the land.

Outdoors: Planting of the trees and plants outside the classroom or in society. This shall help in acknowledging the importance of nature and the dependency of living being on nature.

Answer: For the satisfaction of the most elementary necessities of a booming and bloated population, the society which exists on this day has assumed a sequential chain of events of the likes of hasty industrialization and haphazard urbanization, in addition to the heightened abuse of our natural reserves, to name a few. The consequences of the aforementioned actions have pointedly expedited the dilapidation of the natural ecosystem which surrounds us.

Answer: Making a model of an ecosystem around us. Which was very interesting and helpful for children to gain knowledge about the environment and interdependency of every living organisms around us including plants.

All the above-listed things were required to build a model of the ecosystem and environment around us, also this practice helped children a lot in developing skills and knowledge about the environment.

c. Set-up

Answer: Two groups were made and every group had 4 children in it, the set-up was done in the classroom and was decorated with every possible thing which was related to environment and which helped enlighten the mind of children towards the environment. Every group had one supervisor to guide them and provide them with the required things related to their model and presentation.

a) Name of experience (Outdoors)

Answer: Tree plantation, was the teaching experience as children and all the adults involved learned a lot about nature and building of the environment. Importance of planting trees shall provide us with fresh air in future and shall balance the nature concerning the weather and basic need for living.

Answer: The children involved in this task were of age 12 to 14 years.

c) Materials required

Answer: Saplings of plants and trees, equipment’s to plant the saplings and water, for setting the mud and saplings, which shall help the plantation in proper growth.

d) Set-up

Answer: Set-up was the school garden and the entire task was help in the supervision of the other adults and faculty members of the school.

Answer: The experience was great and knowledgeable as it helped each one of us who was part of such outdoor activities, especially the children enjoyed and learnt about the nature and importance of planting of trees and need of healthy green environment.

The strategy was to enlighten the knowledge of people involved through a practical activity rather than learning it through books and notebooks. An activity which is done practically and an individual is part of it plays an important role in setting up the mindset of the person specifically. Planting of trees is such an even that people shall know the importance of trees and how they play a vital role in building up our environment, also, how important it is for all the living beings as it provides the oxygen which is important for every living being in this entire earth.

Answer: Children enjoyed the method of learning through the activities conducted outside the classroom, as they were seemed to be interested in all the tasks and were curious to know about the nature and relation of nature and human being. By such activity, they came across the food cycle and the interdependency of every living being on each other. Knowledge about flora and fauna has made them understood the value of nature and balance in the ecosystem, also how important it is to maintain the greenery around us for fresh air to breath.

The indoor activity helped in understanding the environment and the clear process of building and developing of environment. The evaporation and the change in climate, the need for trees and animals for balancing the ecosystem and the food chain.

c) supported children to develop respect for the natural environment

Answer: The outdoor activity of tree plantation was a new way for children to learn about nature and the dependency of humans and every other living animal and organisms on trees and nature, without nature it shall be difficult to survive as it provides oxygen, food and other needs to living beings. Such knowledge increased and supported all the children in developing respect for nature and the environment.

Indoor activity developed the thought of keeping nature clean and tidy for future use. Making an ecosystem on the model helped in acknowledging and value of green plants and usages.

d) encouraged children to exchange thoughts and ideas about sustainable practice.

Answer: The activities conducted indoors and outdoors helped children in sharing their thoughts and ideas, which again helped in developing new ideas and presenting them in their ways and methods.

How shall our every step of present help and secure our future concerning nature and needs which are fulfilled by nature? The main reason to maintain the nature and environment is oxygen which is the most important need for us by our nature and environment. Therefore, how shall the strategy of sustainable development help us building and conserving the environment for the present and future?

b) Describe how you finalised the change after agreement with the appropriate stakeholders was reached.

Answer: The changes were finalised after agreement with the appropriate stakeholders was reached by discussion over every possibility of changing the view of dealing with the environment and practices of sustainable development. Concerning children, they were very well acknowledged about the do's and don'ts towards the environment. Less use of the non-biodegradable things which shall harm the environment in some of the ways.

3. Describe any barriers you encountered during the change process and how you overcame these barriers.

Answer: The barriers encountered during the change process were that the difficulty in explaining the use and benefits of the environment and the natural products which we acquire form nature and is healthy to use and utilize in the daily use.

Making children understand the importance of ecosystem and the process of sustainable development was a bit difficult to deal with as gaining interest and attention was the main part of the entire changing process.

By making every party involved in the activities of sustainable development and working for the environment helped in encountering the barriers.

a) In your opinion, did you have a successful outcome? Why or why not?

Answer: Yes, the outcomes were successful. Every stakeholder participated and understood the cause of having a sustainable development and a healthy environment. The main reason was understanding the need for the natural resources and correct utilization of nature so that it can be preserved and conserved for the future as well.
