Part A: The Issue of Code of Ethics (COE) in AASW (Australian Association Social Worker)

1. Issue Identification from Own Practice in Terms of Discomfort that Under the Particular Code

All the social workers have to be bound to confidentiality, which means we cannot discuss the business of the client with anyone as it is just like the health providers, and HIPAA, which is one of the serious issues that may lead to loss of the job and even in the cases of accidental bridges. There are only one of the scenarios that justify the breach of confidentiality and reasonably are unlawful and harmful act. One of the incidents that happened with me is the time when I have begun the internship in which I have initially prepared with various Foundation courses that help me to equip various skills and knowledge that is necessary for successful intervention with the clients. While adequate preparation for any professional practices that is an obligation and responsibility are anticipating as well as preparing for every possible ethical conflict is impossibility (Fairchild, Jennings & Trumpy, 2019). For any social workers who are inexperienced or experienced should have prepared themselves to address and resolve any of the ethical dilemmas that can be sharp and their Awareness of ethical standards as well as guide practice that has been detailed mentioned in AASW.

As a student intern, I have to intentionally acquire information related to the client during the course of the field seminar. While working as a social work intern in a local family service agency and over the last six month, I have discovered that Carla Mother of three children was removed to Foster care because of negligence. The two children were placed in separate foster homes, and one child stayed with Carla's sister. Carla is a drug addict, which has limited her ability to take care of children. While her children were in Foster care, their mother has concentrated effort to get back her children from care, she has completed the drug treatment program, and now she is completely drug-free (Sinclair, 2020). However, she has hidden all the identifying details about the group member, but the inter has spoken that there is a mother and her family has been broken up again after they got back and she is doing drugs, and the mother told the Social Work intern not to tell her about it. Hard drugs, because she does not want to split up the family and the field Intern, does not want her mother social to find about the usage of drugs. However, while working with the family server-side, I have realised that the client that has been described is the daughter of my client Carla in which she has denied any usage of drugs and always cleared agency visits. Right now, I have evidence to suggest that the mother is taking drugs.

According to AASW All, the social workers need to respect the rights of the client, which will be based on the relationship of Trust privacy and confidentiality. According to AASW, it is required to you taking care not to improve unnecessarily ofclient’s privacy when sitting and information, and while obtaining information concerned from clients, it is required to authorise representatives to use this information. Moreover, social workers need to disclose any of the information which is confidential information only for the purpose for which has been acquired or with the lawful excuse (Mahdieh, Sharaf & Shojae, 2020). That is why, as a social worker, I am not able to disclose any of the information related to the case that has been identified.

2. Elaborate of Own Moral Principles and Values by Understanding COE

My moral principles and values are similar to the requirements of Australian association for social workers codes of ethics. However, there are some other morals that affect me while working for society. I always believe in providing invaluable services by understanding the needs and wellbeing of individuals of families. Apart from that, I always focus and concern in ensuring all the basic needs of these families who require help need to be met. Social work is one of the challenging professions because it requires emotional and intellectual taxing and always moves for positive social change with the help of human rights and dignity. I believe if any of the family faces any situation where a social injustice has occurred, my duty is to recognise and provide proper assistance in order to help the family. I have a keen sense of what is right and what is wrong, and it is my moral principle to help the family and make people aware of the issues which my the family can face in future. However, I believe in supporting every individual who is in trouble, and the truth needs to be spoken if the lives of people are at risk (Weyns, 2020).

3. The Way of Differ from Ethical Obligations and Duties of The Code and Reflection of Social Workers Issues that Have Recognised

It is one of the dilemmas that not only requires addressing extra questions of how to overcome the issue, but it also calls the social worker to have a firm grip related to the practice behaviour to work according to the principles of AASW Codes of ethics (King, Agyapong & Roberts, 2019). Using the Framework for analysing the ethical dilemmas is highly recommended for all the social workers. To address all these ethical dilemmas faced by the social worker, it is required to identify those professional values as well as applications that can raise the conflict and explicate the conflicts of interest. By understanding the ethical obligations in advance, the social worker is mainly able to prevent the article misconduct. In this case, social workers should always consult experienced colleagues as well as supervisors to overcome any conflicts of interest as well as determine the potential courses of action associated with each other. In fact, AASW, codes of ethics not only required for all the social workers who need advice and console colleagues whenever search consultations are required in the best interest of the Clients. However, in this case, IIFL to address and acknowledge the set of ethics said by AASW because I have acknowledged and accepted my values, life experience and account for influences that can affect my professional decisions (Gotterbarn et al., 2017).

Part B: The Effects

4. Impact Over Various Stakeholders Are Affected Through Present COE by Understanding the Selected Issues

The primary mission for any Social Work profession is to improve the welding of humans and help to meet the basic needs for all people with specific attention towards the needs and empowerment of the vulnerable people, oppressed as well as living in poverty (Tluczek et al., 2019). All the social workers who promote Social justice and social change always work on behalf of clients plants can be referred to as individual families groups, organisations or communities. Moreover, it is required for the social worker to follow the rules and regulations for the code of conduct that has been developed by the government or by the organisation that has been developed according to the requirement of the company. In this section, there will be a discussion on Ethical obligations under the code of conduct as well as the impact on various stakeholders And people affected by the current code of conduct.

It has been seen that every social worker has faced ethical dilemmas in the time of the work. In this case, the stakeholders who are the people can get affected due to the ethical dilemma that occurs when a social worker has a moral obligation to Polo two different courses of action. Some of the situations only allow the social worker to choose one of these two courses. In this case, the children who are associated with the case study that has been mentioned above are the stakeholders who will get affected due to the AASW codes of conduct (Lee et al., 2019). The social worker in this situation would need to conflict in their fear of losing their job or making it difficult for them to meet any application to provide for the families and the children. However, not reporting the wrong doing social worker will put another stakeholder in hazard. It should be noted that there is no perfect method for any social worker to deal with ethical dilemmas for any conflict regardless the choice is social worker need to face and except every consequence related to the actions, which they need to choose. However, there are two ways to view the situation where it will come near a decision.

The social worker needs to evaluate the potential actions that can be taken and then pick the exact course, which will provide the least morally problematic. The second involves the analysis of potential outcomes actions by selecting a course of action that will provide the most benefit and least harm to the children. If the stakeholder follows the code of ethics, then it has a possibility that Carla can affect the future of her children because of her drug addiction. Most of the time, she will not be able to take care of children as it will ruin the three innocent children and their life. In this case, it is not required to make the stakeholders happy. Most people depend on social workers and their moral principles and values. Because making the right decision is an essential function for all the management of both good understanding of the issues and to make a balanced judgement (Alexandre, Crowder & McFarlane, 2019). Available, even more than making a good decision, society expects that the social worker will make decisions, which will be ethical. That is making the choices which are there as possible and that it will represent the collective social morals of the social workers. All the ethical decisions acquire trust and respect as well as help to establish the decision-maker as a good citizen.

5. Apply Bacchi’s for Problem Representation

According to the article written by baccchi named what's the problem represented to be that provides direct attention towards the importance of Health Promotion advocacies which reflects on how the problem has been constituted or how it brought into existence as particular shots of the problem in any of the policy is developed by government agencies or any of the policy proposals (Senter et al., 2018). In the end, it has introduced the post-structural analytic strategy called what the problem representative to be that contrasts this perspective to a certain way in which any problem related to the conceptualisation of health policy analysis is. Moreover, some of the perspectives offer significant rethinking related to the emphasis on the conventional of setting an agenda as well as policymaking processes that will help to consider the meaning of true success or failure in the health policy initiative.

Furthermore, it can be stated that any of the starting points that have closed analysis towards the item are successful which means they make the political agenda to see how all the representations related to problems within the selected policies are limited and what talked about as possible or desirable Or impossible and undesirable outcomes. With the help of this analysis, any individual can enable the critical reflection towards the substantive content of any initiative taken in the policy of health. According to bacchi that has been described in the article which took a step back from policy process theories as well as any frameworks to other reflection at the level of paradigms. Based on the bacchi article representation it can be stated that all the problems that have been identified and developed policy according to them are not able to hold any of the issues which might be faced by the social worker. According to AASW, All the social workers need to follow the professional obligations developed by the association or by the organisation. However, most of the time, it does not work in all the situations that are faced by social workers (Ahluwalia et al., 2018).

Part C: Highlighting the Issue

6. Demonstrate the Steps that Would Implement from Practices for Reducing Ill-Effects Over People

There are various issues faced by the social worker. One of the issues has been identified in the above case in which the social worker needs to follow the applications made by AASW to reduce any conflicts between the social worker and the organisation by not disclosing any information of the client to anyone. However, in this case, the social worker feels an ethical dilemma (Westmarland & Rowe, 2018). It has been seen that feeling the need to compromise the organisational standards, which is a leading indicator of a larger potential state. The first step is to make sure about the values by asking this supervisor, which will provide a sustainable way to overcome the ethical dilemma faced by the social worker. The next step is to learn various skills that would be required to understand the present situations like the analytical skills, which will help to ensure that the social worker should take a proper step to overcome such social Ethical dilemmas. Next step is to think about the outcome of all the steps that the social worker put into ending the ethical dilemma (Adelstein & Clegg, 2016). If the social worker finds himself in a situation, it is required for the social worker to resolve the issue with the right vs right dilemma by finding what the highest right is. It is required to support dignity as well as the vote of the person and support the right to self-determination even with the youngest clients. Therefore, it is required for the social worker to put more importance to the human relationship if the confidentiality may affect their trust in the future

7. Recommendation and Suitable Factors of Social Workers by Understanding COE

The Social Work student’s open-faced personal as well as institutional challenges which are prior to the studying and after the international placement. The Social Work students who are not able to manage these challenges can encounter various professional issues that can hinder their meaningful contribution towards the placements both in domestic as well as global. There are some responsibilities, which need to be performed by the social worker who is engaged in education training and supervision as well as evaluation for specific ethical responsibilities. All the social workers list two causes and maintain specific knowledge skills methodology to perform any specific task competently. However, the issue arises when the student has to face a different kind of situation which was not provided in the general provisions of the code (Boddington, 2017).

Moreover, all the social workers need to Foster in social work students as well as supervisors the knowledge and understanding related to the social work profession and the court which will help to develop better relationships to this practice of teaching and research. Various career opportunities have been available in international development related to social workers with thousands of non-governmental organisations who are contributing to develop International work in all the regions of the world. The social Work students always face the issues related to the placement. If the planning and deployment of social work students were not organised properly, then there will be consequences which are related to haphazard and uncoordinated internationalisation related to the profession of social work (XIII, 2016). Moreover, it has been seen that the code of conduct does not provide any opportunities to develop and train or to expose to international development in practice. If any of the students, get placed internationally the field placements can be revenue for such practice and training and all this training will stand up with various challenges that will meet the Social Work student full potential and contribution. It has been seen that the code of conduct does not provide full information related to the ethical dilemma of the student who faced the field.

Moreover, most of the social workers are not adequately trained to work in international development and to handle the issues of an ethical dilemma. It is recommended to the student to develop Various skills, principles and Standards which are most essential which will help to overcome any conflict that arises in the field as the AASW does not provide any specific values on morals that can be used in the field while any of the ethical dilemmas arise. Moreover, developing skills to handle systematically as well as a better analytical skill will help this social work student to handle the case according to the basis are the issues by carefully assessing the situation and to determine what action would be most suitable for the current situation (King, Agyapong & Roberts, 2019).

Based on the web section, it can be stated that social workers are walking in the conditions where they have to face some of the social, ethical dilemmas, which can affect their work and their mental ability. While all the social workers need to follow the code of conduct developed by the organisations, there are some cases in which they need to follow their own beliefs as the code of conduct does not provide all the necessary information that can be useful in every situation (SpA, 2016). Based on the above issue it can be stated that the ethical dilemma, which I have faced, was an issue which doesn't feel right at the moment that is why I have followed the professional application to overcome the issue. However, my moral principles and values were asking me to help the family as the children's outstation issues living with their mother (Johnson, 2017).
