Gibb’s Reflective Cycle

Working with collaboration in healthcare settings is currently a significant aspect for its productivity and quality of service. Inclusion of teamwork and management can help a healthcare system, to provide quality of care to their patients. In healthcare system of Australia, inclusion of Australian indigenous people is very negligible which is required to increase. This aspect has been well portrayed in the conducted study with highly accountable teamwork. The current reflective cycle discusses about the strategic aspects that have bene incorporated in the conducted project as well as the importance and effectiveness of the teamwork in both academic and professional field.

Individual skills are considered as highly significant in healthcare industry in which the experience, expertise, skills, proficiency, communication, leadership and other traits can deliver effective service to the patients. Besides this individual trait, team working strategy is currently considered as one of the most effective aspect for both students as well as professional practice (Bowers et al. 2019). For this reason, while I and my three peers have participated in a study about the inclusion of indigenous people of Australian in different healthcare facilities as employees, I have learnt about this type of team working practices. The group is developed by including three members who have worked with me in the academic settings. With the help of professors and leaders, we have found our group to conduct the task. The assessor has instructed to be focused, cooperative, communicative, and knowledgeable to all four members of the team. The main aim of forming this group to promote team working culture in future professional settings. On the other hand, different traits have been acknowledged by all group members and me in order to include those individual skills in the settings.

The most significant strategy is leadership which is a key skill for group members. All the differences and familiar viewpoints of all group members are discussed and critically analysed by all participants. Therefore, various arguments and contradiction about the deliverables have been emerged and the team members have taken such arguments as constructive work. With the help of these arguments and critics, we figure out effective and appropriate discussion in collaborative way (Lacerenza et al. 2018). However, if we fail to address the issues or fail in any aspects, we share the failure in collaborative way. This is a transformational leadership style or democratic leadership strategy in which, all participants have equal rights to deliver their though as well as the decision making is also conducted in effective way. However, the strategy of conflict resolution is still an issue for our team which requires to develop effectively.

Apart from this, I have noticed, emotional intelligence is necessary to incorporate within the communication skills of group members. Understanding each of the participant’s behaviour, body language and emotion with the help of this interpersonal skill is essential for managing the team and delivering ideas and knowledge (Rosen et al. 2018). On the other hand, in order to transfer knowledge and findings, we have found that developing communication skill is necessary aspect. Not only within the team, but also while working in the practical field, fluency in communication is necessary to improve in an effective way. Besides this, choice of effective communication platform is also an important aspect. While conducting out knowledge transfer and developing the project work, we have found that using social media, video conferencing media, emails and other e-media are important for communicating with each other.

After completion of the project, I feel satisfied for the final outcome as well as the knowledge and skills that have been acquired during the assignment. Along with this, I feel that I have absorbed the participatory style of the team which is effective for understanding the future practice within the healthcare settings. The hugest methodology is initiative which is a key expertise for bunch individuals. All the distinctions and recognizable perspectives of all gathering individuals are talked about and basically examined by all members (Salmon, Stanton & Jenkins, 2017). Accordingly, different contentions and logical inconsistency about the expectations have been developed and the colleagues have accepted such contentions as productive work. With the assistance of these contentions and pundits, we make sense of powerful and fitting conversation in community oriented way. Notwithstanding, in the event that we neglect to address the issues or flop in any viewpoints, we share the disappointment in community oriented way. This is a transformational authority style or popularity based initiative technique in which, all members have equivalent rights to convey their however just as the dynamic is likewise led in successful manner. In any case, the procedure of compromise is as yet an issue for our group which requires to grow adequately.

I have seen several personal strength and weakness among which, enthusiastic insight is important to fuse inside the relational abilities of gathering individuals. Seeing every one of the member's conduct, non-verbal communication and feeling with the assistance of this relational ability is fundamental for dealing with the group and conveying thoughts and information. Then again, so as to move information and discoveries, we have discovered that creating correspondence aptitude is fundamental angle (McEwan et al. 2017). Within the group, yet additionally while working in the handy field, familiarity with correspondence is important to improve in a compelling manner. Other than this, decision of powerful correspondence stage is likewise a significant perspective. While directing out information move and building up the undertaking work, we have discovered that utilizing internet based life, video conferencing media, messages and other e-media are significant for speaking with one another.

Therefore, individual abilities are considered as exceptionally noteworthy in social insurance industry in which the experience, aptitude, abilities, capability, correspondence, administration and different characteristics can convey compelling support of the patients. Other than this individual quality, group working procedure is presently considered as one of the best viewpoint for the two understudies just as expert practice. Hence, while I and my three companions have taken part in an examination about the incorporation of indigenous individuals of Australian in various social insurance offices as employees, I have found out about this kind of group working practices. The gathering is created by including three individuals who have worked with me in the scholarly settings. With the assistance of educators and pioneers, we have discovered our gathering to direct the errand. The assessor has trained to be engaged, agreeable, informative, and proficient to every one of the four individuals from the group. I have noticed that, the fundamental point of shaping this gathering to advance group working society in future expert settings. Then again, various qualities have been recognized by all gathering individuals and me so as to remember those individual abilities for the settings.

In future, effective communication and leadership strategy will be incorporated for future practice. Additionally, I will focus with my conflict management strategy and conflict resolution technique in order to enhance my proficiency and knowledge.
