This paper is based on the management analysis of the Amazon company to recognize the key managers in the company and their impact on the operations of the organizations. A brief analysis of the company provides an understanding of the organizational culture of the company that defines employee satisfaction (Amazon, 2019a).
One of the important managers of Amazon is Jeff Bezos that established the organization. Through his innovative ideas and charismatic vision, the companies operate in excellent conditions. Jeff Bezos follows a transformational leadership style to maintain an effective relationship between employees and management. Powerful communication strategies and cultural change perspectives are different perspectives of individuals regarding Jeff Bezos (Amazon, 2019a).
Another important manager in Amazon is 'Rosalind G. Brewer' that works in the leadership development and compensation committee to fulfil the needs of the employees and provide the most suitable compensation in the organization. She leaves a huge impact on the company through the decision making power for the employees and managing effective operations.
Transformational leadership style is followed by Rosalind Brewer to offer innovative and technological-based solutions that derive effective services in the company. Jeff Bezos and Rosalind Brewer are effective leaders that work for the betterment of the society. Several stories are popular for these key managers including their leadership styles, rewards and achievements that inspire other individuals to follow their path and achieve the desired goals (Zhu &Liu, 2018).
The corporate mission of Amazon is based on the increased customer experience based on technology and innovative approaches to fulfil the needs of the customers through helping them in identifying, discovering and purchasing any product or services to enhance the organizational success and empower businesses. It aims at managing Amazon as most ‘customer-centric company’ of Earth(Amazon, 2019a).
Amazon is popular for its values and approaches based on customer-centric design. Some of the core values of Amazon are based on its leadership principles that define the implication of ideas through ownership, customer obsession, hire and develop the best, invent and simplify, think big, find the right path, maintain higher standards and define bias for actions. These values define the leadership principles of Amazon to define success and working on the path of a customer-centricapproach(Amazon,2020).
The organizational culture of Amazon is purely based on the innovative approaches and passionate individuals to continuously improve the products and services to maintain customercentricity. Amazon emphasizes on working beyond limits and maintaining innovative solutions that can provide appropriate benefits of the customers and its employees. Through building trust and delivering the most efficient outcomes, Amazon believes in a true corporate culture beyond the traditional limits and developing bright ideas (Amazon,2020).
Jeff Bezos identified Amazon as a non-profit company that works for the community. Amazon maintains sustainability in the business and fulfils the needs of corporate social responsibility (CSR)(Amazon, 2019b). It supports the local communities, establish several programs for educating and empowering workers, managing health and safety of employees, emphasizing gender equality, focuses on energy consumption, water consumption, recycling and carbon emissions. Amazon is considered at stage 4 of CSR (McGurl, 2016). Different initiatives of Amazon for managing CSR are as follows:
Amazon Career Choice Program that provides different courses for individuals with 95% prepaid tuition fees for employees to develop relevant skills.
Work from home is provided by Amazon to all the employees at a global level due to the risk of COVID-19 for a specific period.
Amazon has established 10 affinity groups that work for gender equality and minorities.
Cloud computing technology and e-commerce business of Amazon is mainly based on renewable energy that can be increased until 2024 by 80% (Amazon, 2019b).
The major aim of the organization to use renewable energy up to 100% until 2030.
Different centres in Amazon are based on recycled water and rainwater collection to reduce water consumption as much as possible (Amazon, 2019b; Dudovskiy, 2020).
The current number of employees in Amazon are 798,000 wherein it can fluctuate based on the contracts or seasonal factors. The management promotes an effective and positive relationship with the employees to maintain a satisfactory level in the organization and support the family members of the employees through several facilities. Amazon provides better facilities to its employees as compared to other companies. Based on the facilities and support, distinguished benefits provided by Amazon for its employees are:

The employees of Amazon enjoy the benefits of attractive perks and positive organizational culture that promotes individual growth. Through training and developmental procedures, employees develop leadership skills in Amazon and follow the customer-oriented philosophy.
The employees of Amazon focuses on simplified solutions and innovative approaches that develop their innate capabilities to maintain higher standards. The employees or Amazon are recognized as satisfied that works with the direction of their managers. Individuals who emphasize on innovative ideas and approaches should be identified as happiest in the company (McGurl, 2016).
It can be concluded that Amazon focuses on the needs of its employees and develop cognitive abilities of employees through training and development process. Customer-centric philosophy is the key mission of Amazon that promotes a pathway for satisfactory outcomes for employees.
