The complication aroused after the involvement of the United Nations who planned to divide the land into two parts has failed, which leads to several wars amongst Israel and surrounding Arab nation’s dates back in 1948 and 1967. The war of 1967 has changed the scenario as Israel has grabbed control of the two important territories home to sizeable Palestinian populations. This makes Israel grow their extensive control and build ever-increasing societies in the newly controlled regions of Palestine by denying the land to Palestinians. Last, the author has stated two approaches in solving the conflict which might help in reducing the problem successfully.

As per the conflict theory which tells us about how concern and clash arise when there is an uneven allocation of power, resources, and status among groups within a society. Similarly, with this scenario, applying conflict theory will help assess the reasons behind and able to resolve such effectively. It has been understood that the author has suggested two solutions, such as two-state solutions and one-state solution. The approach of granting two states will help create a win-win situation for both the groups and would lead to keeping peace and harmony amongst them. Although, with a one-state solution, it will not be so effective as it shall give power, status, and resources to a single group which will lead to more conflicts and distress.
