My Journey for the study of Community Services is very life changing experience, I learnt so many things in the whole educational course. Earlier I use to think like many others it is only social service but now I know exactly how vast this term is like as defined by (https://www.merriam-webster.com, n.d.)

Community services is services offered by a person or a group of people which benefits others. I learnt that It is generally done near within our own area where we live but surely can be done to other communities as well. It is an help to any group of people which is in need like children, senior citizen or any one who need help. Adults can also participate in community service as a way to help others or if they are ordered to do so by a judge

(Sarikas, 2018) some of the examples for community services :-

Working with schoolchildren:- it can giving them free tutoring to underprivileged children, donating food, school supplies etc

Working for senior citizens:- Visting old and senior citizen homes and their residence

Enhancing the environment: Participating in a recycling and sustainability contest, planting trees, seminar about environmental sustainability, and building a new trail at a nature centre.

Assisting low-income people: Distributing essential food supplies to communities, collection of used clothes that will be donated, making first aid kits for homeless people and shelters.

Community Service learning – I have learnt that there is an fact an amalgamation/ a blend of both- studying, comprehending and volunteering. I also came to know that there is a difference between community Service and voluntary services:-

Community service learning is through a course revealed in practical providing opportunities to learn through the exposure and live aspects of life. It covers the assignments, theory part, case studies, discussions, question answer sessions and presentations.

Volunteering is devoting my time and efforts for a noble cause. Volunteering can be done on yearly, biannually, monthly, fortnightly, weekly or even daily basis. People volunteer on holidays as well. Visiting any philanthropic organisation and try to contribute.

The activities may include a cleanliness drive, organising a blood donation camp, service at an old age home or orphanage and servicing in groups during a polio vaccination camp.

(difference-between-volunteering-volunteerism/, n.d.) as per site, Volunteering is way which is very to give something back to the community or world, , it is an exciting and unique way looking world from a different angle. Instead of typically planning to go for a vacation, it will be wiser to choose volunteer communities and social causes abroad and get the exclusive opportunity to see various places and experience across the world that is rare and people usually would not get or have the chance to discover places when they take a regular vacation. In addition, other benefits include, one can spend more time to learn other cultures, learning about differences, other backgrounds, issues, challenges that are happening in their lives.

(difference_between_community_service_and_service_learning, n.d.), Community service versus service learning is different and diverse role to play, for instance, Tomato, "toomaaato" right? Well, not quite. These two services are little different between each other. Community service is a project that many 4-H clubs (and other organizations and individuals) participate to lend a hand towards improving churches, different individuals, small organizations, poorly funded schools and different communities for betterment. The aim is to make communities and individuals to lead their life in better way whereas learning is secondary and unintentional.

Working on different projects has changed my life in many ways and touched my inner heart; Working on this project makes me feel Sad as well as satisfied. Sad because i get to see how life is bad for them and how they are struggling every day and satisfied as i have to become the part of such good cause and help others.

In community services my part was clear and very supportive and i did not feel any left out instead i was help each of them member if anything they required. The other community services i participated are providing foods and toys to children living in shelter, cleaning city areas to make city clean etc.Yes, my participation in community services has changed me in different yet empathic person who can feel and respect those people who are struggling in their lives and make me think we do complain every day and then see their lives how difficult is that.yes, community services in all business majors should be continue in future because it helps us to make good person and this create a sense of care, responsibilities in us and also this would help us to bring welfare to society.

As a school director
Visiting patients in hospital
Working for sustainability and conservation projects
Partnering towards initiating community-based service projects
Participating in a charity organization

As per one of research,if community service related to the students' major, or getting experience within the field is helping the student achieve a higher GPA. The hours spent on studying this was considered for analysing.(Grubisich, 2017)

It has changed my perspective and may be future towards this area, I will try to be more innovative that how can I use my services in different ways to help more people and change their life with empathy. Knowledge is not limited we can thrive as much as we can and can use them as a weapon for the welfare of humanity. It’s important to use it for mankind so that it changes your life with them too. An individual can went to abroad for gathering better knowledge and return to his country after acquiring those knowledge and implement them in his own country for better results or output. Like to find a cure of unknown disease which is taking lives of several people and there is no treatment available because of the unknown cause, an individual can use his knowledge to apply a research for better understanding about its root cause and can went to pursue, so as to help his own person to deal with the situation.(Goethem, 2014) The impact of community-based service programs concerning quality on changes in adolescents' intentions to volunteer. Based on the literature, volunteering intentions were expected to increase by programs with high quality community service activities (e.g., instructive activities) and educational activities including reflection.

(community-service-and-volunteerism, n.d.) It is evident that helping others shall offers one a good karma, but did you recognize that it can provide one with career assistance, as well?

Participating with community-based service organizations and volunteering one’s time and capability to diverse causes not only improves a community, but it also enables one to try or taste different jobs and identify which one is best as per fit. If anyone is wondering of how to contribute towards society, think about volunteering at a school to improve education and children care. Besides, if one is doctor or healthcare professional, volunteering at any local hospital or provide care towards stray animals. As I am thinking of pursuing a career in this field, it is very important to understand what people want and how I can help them, where from I get resources. So, my course has shown me the path and now I feel empowered that yes I can help others. There is so much pain and suffering in this world but with true efforts we can really change the environment with happiness and positivity which is the key to solve any problem. I feel not only confident but also feel that I am not all alone there are so many like me who want to help, Important is join hands and work together.
