The program is going to utilize the Pender's model of health promotion for the program as it helps to change the behavioural aspect that helps to promote health. The model utilizes the two theories to identify the health behaviour which include social cognitive theory and value expectancy theory that help in the development of the health promotion model. The model utilizes three factors to understand the behavioural aspect which includes individual characteristics, behaviour-specific cognitions and behavioural contingencies.
