Introduction to Employment Category in Australia

The main objective of this report is to conduct quantitative research which is (Bhandari, 2020) , is the process of numerical data collecting and analyzing it. Which can be used to identify patterns, averages and make predictions, test if any relationships exist, and generalize results to larger populations if concluded from a sample data.,

To research Quantitative data Analysis, which can help the management of any group of decision-makers, a topic of Income vs Nature of employment category is identified as a research area. This research will help in identifying what are different categories of employment and how much is variations in their income. The Australian labour market has already shown the signs of fatigue, and employment growth softening and drifting up of unemployment (Pickering, 2019). It will help the HR Management of any industry or company to form their HR policies, design salary structure, wage growth and other employee benefits according to that.

Data Analysis

Data is collected from (Australian Government , 2016) , it is census data which is highly reliable and authentic as it is collected by the government and covers all the data sets i.e. huge population or 100 % population. The outcome of this data in Quantitative method is called detailed survey method of collecting the data. The next in the process of data analysis is to organize data as per needs to research 

It can see from the above chart that major category of employees are professional and most of them belong to higher income group, managers are the second category of workers which have a higher group, and there can be seen a huge variation between the income of these two categories vs other categories.

The above Bar Chart is showing that maximum people in Australia come under $2000 -$2999 income group which shows the living standard of the country. And there are very fewer people are there in the category of workers or people under $1000, it helps HR to make their HR policy.

One more analysis is done by organizing the Data by categorizing it to see the number of employees available for different categories. It also reveals that Professionals is the highest category of employees available in Australia as per the Census of 2016.

As per one of the current issues faced by Australian industries now, that Average Annualized Wage Increase (AAWI) for current federal enterprise agreements in all industries fell progressive from 3.5 per cent in December 2013 to 2.7 per cent in December 2018.

This above analysis is helpful for the management to decide their manpower budgeting or new project investment, and also tells management what is the general category of employees are available and what is the income group they fall.
