The first video is about the mining work. It shows the importance of surveying in mining work. The processes is also shown video that used in mining work.

Second video is about the fixing the boundary of a building in which it shows all the process took place to set out the boundary of a building.

Ans 1(a) In mining the work the surveying is done in preliminary stage. When a mining site is decided a survey is conducted to collect the important information about the site such as the depth of ore, the nearby area and things and other information which is important for mining.The other surveying is also done after the mining to collect the information which is helpful for the new development of that site.

For fixing the boundary of a building the surveying is also done before the construction started such as in the initiation stages.in this any amount of area is possessed by some type fencing or by any earthwork activities.

Ans 1(b) In mining work the type of surveying is used is mining surveying which include the levelling ,traversing and chain surveying. By the levelling surveyor collect the information about the height of the plan and traversing and chain is used to collect other detain and set up the boundary.

In fixing the boundary of the building area the cadestal surveying is used. In this surveying by using the map available the boundary is fixed on the ground with the help of chaining and theodolite surveying.

Ans 1(c) In both the mining and the set up boundary the use of surveying is very important. To know the exact detail about the site the surveying is the thing which help us too much and help us to further plan. In mining if the surveying is not done then we not do the exact planning to explode and start the mining.After the mining if the surveying is not done than there is a big problem to think about the redevelopment of the site for other uses.

Fixing the boundary is also important for the building to do the exact plan of the building.If the boundary is not fixed than there is very problem in designing. It also ends the dispute between the property owner.

Ans2(b) For establishment of survey marks first of all locate all the existing survey point and try to choose the new survey mark. The new survey marks should be as that it is exessible to all the point and try to define each and every point of the boundary line. After that we have to devide the area in four parts by joining the four corners try to choose that corner that contains the existing survey point by joining the corner points. Some survey point is also make made on the survey line that gives the detail about all things.

For tolerance of 1 or 10 we have to very specific about the chaining and all measurement should do very precisely. The existing site has some slope and topography.so calculation should be done by very precisely and all measurement should done by chaining and theodolite.All correction should be done to make so precise measurement.

Ans 2(c) It is little easier when there is any existing survey marks because it gives a exact location of the site and establish a check for the new survey point. If there is no any existing survey marks than it is difficult to make a choice for new survey point. Existing survey marks provide a check and and it increase the accuracy of the survey point as it is connected by the overall survey done in that area.

Ans 3(b) Yes the direction of lines provided is adequate because the direction is so that it is accessible to the all point on the area. The density of line is more at the middle and because it has rough terrain and for more accuracy the more check points are required.
