Introduction to Chiropractic

The main principle of chiropractic is to focus on the health a human body's inerrant capability to heal itself the holistic approach of chiropractic matches WHO definition of health. Chiropractic is defined as a field of health care with is associated with diagnosis, prevention and treatment of neuromuscular-skeletal disorders and various other conditions as well as reducing the effects of these conditions on the overall health of the individual. Chiropractic Health Care Sector should participate in health decisions to promote wellness and delivery of health. This review focuses on the findings of six research articles in regards to the promotion of the chiropractic profession

Methods of Promoting Chiropractic

The search conducted for the literature of this summary was; Pubmed, Google Scholar, BMC. The search terms used were; chiropractic promotion, chiropractic for adults, chiropractic use. Six relevant peer-reviewed original research articles (PubMed = 3, Google Scholar = 1, SBMC = 2) were used to be included in this summary.

Discussion on Promoting Chiropractic

The results indicated that 40% and above patients adopted chiropractic as a health treatment to recover fully from their disease and illnesses. The health benefits off chiropractic are well known hence integrating this practice in the larger scheme of health services will promote wellness through chiropractic among patients (Blum et al, 2008).

The study reveals that out of the three alternative therapies. Chiropractic was chosen mostly by the patients. The most common problems for which people chose chiropractic were muscle problems and back pain. It shows how chiropractic has opportunities to grow as a therapy for the treatment of spine-related problems (Xue et al., 2018).

The importance of the treatment model is that it recognizes the drawbacks of the chiropractic operations in existence and provides significant guidelines to be adopted and implemented so that the scope of chiropractic can be improved and enhance as a profession to work for the betterment of the health of the consumers holistically (Nelson et al., 2005)

Chiropractic can prove to be very beneficiary for the adult population since chiropractic is associated with the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. Various chiropractic modalities are used for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders to address the patient's health of a holistic level (Dougherty et al., 2012).

Chiropractic has shown to improve the uneasiness of the upper body extremity conditions which includes sports injuries to the muscles and bones, neck pains, shoulder trigger points. The scope of chiropractic in sports injuries is improving (Alireza Salehi et al., 2015).

Through this study, it was found out that chiropractic no longer faces extreme external barriers like before. There are more opportunities and scope of participation in the health care sector for the chiropractic. There is still a need for adoption of chiropractic for muscle and bone-related uneasiness by the people rather than any other service which is less effective than chiropractic (Johnson, 2008).

Conclusion on Promoting Chiropractic

It can be concluded that a lot has been done in the field of chiropractic. Chiropractic has an effective impact on various conditions and uneasiness of the body. Chiropractic care needs more promotion in the health sector as it already has improved establishment in the health sector and has lots of opportunities for the professional. There is a need for more acceptable for it to make a greater impact. Integration of chiropractic in health care delivery will increase its scope and awareness among consumers. The barriers to chiropractic have significantly reduced and several opportunities are now available for the chiropractic students in college and professionals. More and more consumers are opting for chiropractic for their muscular uneasiness and back-related pain however it still needs to be accepted with much more enthusiasm for this alternative therapy to make a greater impact.
