Due to COVID 19 outbreak, the share price of the company has declined from $8.84 in January 2020 to $4.72 in March 2020. However, in May 2020, the share price of the company again increased to $8 and then to $9.31 in June 2020. The net profit of the company has declined from $59333000 in 2019 to $31263000 in 2020 owing to the rise in expenses and decline in the sales revenue (Annual Report, 2020). The company has large amount of interest expenses on the amount of borrowings irrespective of the amount of profits earned by it. Beta is considered as the significant factor that helps in determining the cost of equity. The share valuation of the corporation gets affected by the value of beta. it has been analysed that if the beta value of the specific period is high then it infers that the cost of capital is also high. The beta for four years has been computed as 1.34 whereas the beta for the last 6 months has been computed as 1.67. This shows that beta value is lower for four years period which indicates that cost of capital was lower in that period and now it has increased and thus, infers that the risk level was lower earlier and now it has also increased. It has been found that there are various macroeconomic factors like treasury bills, GDP, exchange rates, interest rates, etc. that may influence the weakness and strength of the particular economy. In the last four years, the stock market is considered to be less volatile in comparison to last 6 months period as the beta value Is higher in earlier period. High volatility infers serious influence on the economy that might make it difficult for any company to achieve smoothness in the business operations.
