Why and for what reasons do international students choose MPA over the MBA. What are the future of MPA and the purpose of both requirements?

Introduction

The degree to serve in executive position in municipal, state and federal organizations is degree in public affair. It basically focuses on development, managements, and implementations of polices. Further it also focuses on how top prepare a candidate so that he or she can deal with the challenges based on the career selections and challenges put forward by the society (Will Kenton). Further in this research it has also been discussed about the merits and demerits of both the career options, also it has been discussed that why international students do not choose MBA over MPA. Why MPA is more beneficial as a career option than an MBA? Also the details for the degree of MBA have been discussed and the differences between both the career options are mentioned for the knowledge of a student to opt for the better option.

The Master of Business Administration is an intentionally-recognized as a degree for the student those who have graduated and are pursuing higher and detailed education on the specific research subject. Students opt for MBA for good and renowned placements and work options. The value of the MBA however is not limited strictly to the business world. An MBA can also be useful for those pursuing a management career in the public sector, government, private and other industries and also other useful areas.

The Rationale of The Research Topic

Working in profit or non-governmental tends to be more measurable as compared to working in governmental sector. As the goal is to help the people in the selection of the career and provide them with the needful at the moment. Business helps people to make money which can be counted but cannot be involved and included in the secure job or work profile. Students who opt for the career which is provided with the governmental benefits should opt for MPA and not MBA (Ilanan Kowarski, 2019).

The study of market is done under MBA and the study of market failure I done and categorized under MPA. MBA students or qualifies people are brought into the profession that they can deal with the market based work and help in the developing sector of the same. Also the students of MBA are taught how to make rules and policies for the market based resources. An MPA student is brought in the market to resolve and help the organization in making the world better. It is nowhere mentioned that MPA is better than the other courses or is necessarily better than MBA. It basically depends over the important goals and prior aims of the student (Samuel J. Yeager, W. Bartley Hildreth, Gerald J. Miller, and Jack Rabin, 2018).

The present society is well more involved in the social goods and not only in the profits. The efforts given by the people is more into corporation sector to get involved in the social mission or any kind of social help and worries of the social responsibility. People worried about the social problems can only be fitted into the profession set for the students of MPA and not MBA.

Literature review

According to Zeger van der Wal and Anne Oosterbaan, the survey conducted for the comparison of MPA over MBA the measures were done to know the interest of the students on the same. The survey conducted was to know about the interest, values, motivation and sector perceptions and how do students deal with the situations regarding the studies and also how does it turn out to be in the terms and conditions which were to be conducted to know about the mentioned points. According to Robert K. Christensen, Steven W. Whiting, Tobin I'm Eunju Rho, Justin M. Stritch &Jungho Park, appraisals for the students and candidates who are pursuing the certain courses and been working on the same goal. MPA and MBA are the fields that provide students more career options and also working options in the governmental and non-governmental sectors of the country. Students choose for MPA over MBA as it provides more options than an MBA in setting up the career of a student. Students should try and opt for better options for themselves in choosing and framing up their careers. Therefore MPA is a much better option for students over the MBA.

Research Design

The reasons why international students choose MPA over MBA:

MBA focuses more on business related works i.e., only few doors are open and it does not develops the working capacity in the student. Whereas, MPA opens up a vast range of variety for students to work after completion of studies. It also helps people in solving their dilemma which is caused by the selection of career and further work profile. It also helps in attaining he extra knowledge about the work and development of the caliber in the student to be confident about the career which he or she has opted for. MPA is designed in such a form that the youth I provided with the ample of opportunities and career option. It further helps in developing the mindset of a MPA pursuing student to work in the governmental sector.

Research Method

The qualitative research method has been used in this project. The Articles referred and mentioned in this research tells about the preference of MPA over MBA by the international students.

Conclusion

As discussed above the conclusion of the research is that it is important to have a career option that is beneficial for the student in the long run and should be as per the choice of the student. MPA has more and better options in setting up a career rather than an MBA when chosen for building up a career. A better degree in the field of education can lead to a better future for the student and in the process of money-making. MPA provides more options to enter into the governmental sector and nongovernmental organizations. The preference of MPA over MBA is based on the development and career-building of a student and is beneficial as per the choice of career settlement. Most importantly the main focus is on the program centers which are based on the guidelines of the public administration and implementations of the policies. Moreover, MPA helps in developing the student confidence in building up to them for specific challenges
