We use the internet in our daily life, and websites are an essential aspect of it. We use websites for almost every task like for getting information, to learn something, to play games, to see something or to use it for earning and shopping. So our interaction with websites is a part of our daily routine. Websites are designed by web developers to facilitate people for business and marketing. So its design must be excellent and attractive so that people like it, and it leaves a good impact on them because it is in human nature that they don't like those things which are unattractive and poorly designed.

Contribution for HCI:

Human-website interaction is a part of daily life. People highly depend on websites for multiple tasks; they interact with its user interface, so its interface matters for them a lot. If the interface is poorly designed like the bad colour combination, text formatting, navigations, links, it will leave a destructive impact on them. It also affects them mentally and physically like if any irritating music is playing in the background, display of too many cookies, the page is full of text which is unable to read, use of too many ads or animations. Such websites got flop in the market, and budget and effort on them also become useless.

Example:

For example, I want to take admission in the university, so I open their website to learn about them. When I open the website its background colour is yellow, which is teasing with so much as I want to know about the university, so I spread their About tab; when I click on it, another yellow page appeared its text is so small that is it is unable to read. Also, it is, again and again, pushing the cookie of Admissions open. It's also teasing me. Then I want to learn about their departments and fee structure. I am searching for the fee structure tab everywhere but unable to find it. I open their department's account, but I didn't see the offered courses tab inside it. So now, I learn about their offered courses where they are? I started searching for them, and after a continuous search, I can find them in the admissions tab. I started thinking about how bad their website is. I didn't learn anything and wasted a lot of time. So I leave their website and decided not to take admission here because if their website is so bad, how much is their education system!

Conclusion:

The user interface must be attractive enough that people find everything quickly, and it is also readable for them. Important things should be kept on the front page so that people easily find them because they don't have much time to search for items. Websites should be kept as simple as possible because too much designing also irritates people. Try to use simple colours because dark colours affect the eyes. So by keeping social facilitation in mind, developers must try to keep all the problems as mentioned above in mind before designing.
