Introduction to Enterprise Architecture

The following report is based on the Woolsworth online service and student admission. Here, a design has been made for the online service where the process of online order taken and online delivery has been made. Hence, the service has been included with a new step like priority facility where the senior people and disabled people will get their order with their mentioned time. The student’s architecture has been designed here with three layers and sublayers. Here, the report has been included with five problems identification and the solution of student’s architecture. The report will also discuss about the new solution and design of the architecture.

Enterprise Architecture - Task 1

Here, the full model has been described as Woolworth’s online shopping service where the overall online shopping process has been described and the step by step process has been mentioned here with the proper connection. In addition, the design here shown the process of online service of the Woolsworth service.

Enterprise Architecture - Task 2

Here, the signavio file has been designed where a new field has been attached named as priority changes where the field has been responsible for creating a new field like disability and senior people. In addition, the eligible customer will be required here for the delivery of products as per their mentioned time.

Enterprise Architecture - Task 3

Here, the field priority learning has been designed where three layers have been mentioned. In addition, the three layers are qualifications, training and study reduced.

Enterprise Architecture - Task 4

Here, student’s architecture has been designed where three layers have been designed such as online application, eligibility for advance standing and current qualification of the students. However, the three layers have been divided into sub layers also.

Enterprise Architecture - Task 5

In the student’s admission architecture that has been created in ArchiMate model and here three core part has been designed that is the online application form, training and current qualifications of the students. In addition, the three layers have been included with sub layers such as enrolling for application and signup/login form in the online application form. In addition, the architecture model has been mentioned here like online admission form has been included with these two layers. However, there are a few problems that have been identified in the model here. On the other hand, the online admission form has been limited to the sub layers of login/signup. Hence, the limitations are the database problem as sometimes the existing user need to log in again here. So, the solution of this problem is the updating policy of existing database here which will help to crosscheck the login table again and again.

Another problem has been identified is enrollment of admission in the architecture. Here, the enrolling process of admission may stick sometimes and the there has been a few limitations of enrollment process here. However, the problem can be resolved with changes made in the login/signup form where there will be a student id given for each student who will login here.

Another one problem in the architecture is advance standing in training layer where the students are been recognized for advance standing program and here the problem is identification of training provided for each sector is quite difficult here. So, the solution for the problem is a training id will be given for respective field and the students are here required to put their training id in the database.

In the architecture, the eligibility process for advanced standing through training is a bit difficult. The solution of the problem is training will be provided as per merit of the students.

Another problem is giving the eligibility for advanced standing through identifying the current qualification of the students. Here, the problem arises while the identifying of current qualifications take place as the identification is quite difficult. The identification should be divided with the fields of the students which will help to make the eligibility list.

Conclusion on Enterprise Architecture

The above report here has mentioned the online shopping service of Woolsworth and their new process priority facility has been included in it. Here, the report has also highlighted about the student’s architecture and their admission process with software. Here, the student’s admission has been included with a few layers and five problems have been identified from here. However, the solution for these problems have been mentioned also. The report here also highlighted the new solution of the student’s architecture and the architecture has been included with the new solution. Hence, the architecture has been designed with new layers and sublayers also.
