Mcdonald’s Drive Through Customer’s Perspective

McDonald's is considered as one of the most successful and reputed restaurant chains globally. In the food industry, McDonald's achieved a successful and rapid growth and success in other countries as well. This expansion was quite successful. McDonald's started its Drive-Thru service in 1978 in many parts of New South Wales (Barisco, 2016). However, McDonald's Drive-Thru concept was not a new concept for the United States but this was considered to be very successful which allows the customer to shop from McDonald's without leaving their cars to become beneficial for the customers and also increase the profit margin of McDonald's. This is more successful in this pandemic time as it allows customers to have a contactless purchasing. It provides a wide range of burgers, drinks, fries, ice-creams, rolls, muffins, hotcakes and so on. McDonald's drive-thru is a window on the way through which the customers can order their favourite food. The technology is also helping in increasing the sales of McDonald's (Duprey, 2019). This drive-thru service gave quick service to the customers which were found to be very beneficial for the people of the United States. The goal of McDonalds was to provide the delivery in a very less period of time. Additionally, for the entertainment of children and to attract the kids to McDonald's the food point start delivering happy meals with a toy which also increase the sales of McDonald's. These toys came into service in 1979 in the US. McDonald always focuses on expansion and introducing new products and services for their customers according to the food trend and people taste for example Chicken Peri Peri burger, McNuggets, Crushers, Cold Coffee in addition to different sausages like Mustard and Barbeque sausages which make the nuggets more delicious. However, the food cooked in McDonald's are quite healthy and prepared in a clean environment which is also the reason of increasing demands. Healthy salads are more preferred for women or aged people.

The architecture styles and designs also attract the customers to eat in the dedicated food points. There are around 3600 Mcdonald food points all over the United States which are easily available for the people. It is said that McDonald's is in the process to announce the opening of 2000 new food stores in the United States (McDonald's, 2017). People were so in love with Burgers that a university named ‘Hamburger University’ was opened in the year 1961 and around 40,000 people took part in it (Adams, 2019). Today McDonald's can be seen anywhere and everywhere in the world and are running successfully everywhere.
