Management is one of the toughest tasks that any organisation has and leadership is the only way that can help the organisation to manage the team. Leader of any team needs to be very interactive, proactive and understanding so that the team members could put their thoughts and ideas in front of the table. Wide range of skills are required in order to be a good leader as transparency is one of those skills that are required for any leader. Transparent working in a team has found to be e more accountable, creative and happy for the employees. Effective communication is also very important as it opens a huge door for creativity and innovation (Breuer, Hüffmeier & Hertel, 2016). The leadership is one of the most important factors in team management.

During the entire assessment process, various challenges faced in managing a team effectively as there are a large number of people in the team therefore to maintain the coordination is a very difficult thing. All members have their different point of you, perception and different thinking skills therefore to maintaining the stability it is very important to be coordinated with each member in the group. However. sometimes in the decision-making process, various challenges occurred. Members me not understand the point of you of other members and sometimes opinions clashes which create problem in the teamwork. As there are a large number of people in the group therefore to keep the track record of single performance it is very difficult for the leader to acknowledge and overview each member performance. Therefore, all the members of the team need to be productive on the levels as it becomes easy for the leader to be effective in considering and evaluating the performance of a particular employee.

In order to manage a team effectively, there are a number of steps followed such as maintaining strong communication is one of them. In the group assessment the one thing which is always considered as to maintain the communication between the members as well as the leader so that the exchange of information is smooth and correct. It is very important to know team individually not on the professional level but also the personal level (Soni, 2020). The other important thing is an acknowledgement that is very important because admiration not only motivates people but it also encourages other members to be more responsible and active in performing. In decision-making process there are various conflict occurred, therefore, managing conflict at the group discussion and decision-making process is very important also managing conflict is very important because it may lead to negative atmosphere that is not good for the team and its productivity.

Effective management techniques that are incorporated in every stage of team development are as follows. The first technique that is added in the entire process of assessment is the listening technique because if a leader truly listens to their employees then there will be a stress-free atmosphere which eradicates all the barriers in performance. The next thing which is considered an effective technique is to empower employees. Empowering employees give them the power to understand their responsibilities which is another stage in team development. Making the team members aware of their roles and responsibilities is very important because it makes them understand the deepness of the work and the responsibility that they need to undertake (Gorman, Grimm & Dunbar, 2018). Creating a culture of empowerment will help to create a culture of trust and faith in the organisation that will improve the productivity of employee and customer satisfaction. However, in the team, while working on assessment the major problem which has been seen is to distribute the roles and responsibilities. All the members in the group are active but when it comes to taking responsibility it always becomes a barrier for each individual. Therefore it is decided at initial stages to give responsibilities as per the interest of the members. There are two members for each responsibility because if two people can work together then the work will become more precise and effective.
