The orchard of Avocado needs certain special attention since it is seasonal fruit and those are all described and mentioned in this paper in an effective manner. The time frame chart is also given so as to denote the time and date required by the seed to grow into a ripe fruit. The people required for such an operation is also mentioned so as to make it successful in all aspects.

Q.1.

The industry of Avocado in New Zealand is very vibrant and is altering from time to time. Initially it is mainly centered within the domestic market of New Zealand but now it is mainly exported in diverse other nations. It is done in order to improve the economic condition and the attain profit from its export. However, it is not an easy task, as an avocado plant requires 10 to 15 years to become large and to bear fruits in it. Although, the seeds sprout out very easily within two to six weeks but to grow into a big plant since, the conditions are sometimes are not at all ripe for it.

Avocado

Avocado is a entirely subtrophical plant and it grows well in a semihumid climatic conditions. Along with this, the most effective temperature for Avocado is within 16 to 26 degree Celsius. Not only this, the plants of Avocado can neighter bear high winds nor extreme frost. So, both types of conditions such as heat and cold are not at all feasible for ist proper growth. However, the soil of Avocado need to be within 6to 7 degree pH conditions along with well water drainage system. Since, water logging is not effective for Avocado and the plants can die. As a result of this, the prices of the fruit vary due to its seasonal differences. In the peak season, the prices of the fruit are quite low in the domestic market as compared to others and its sale is extremely high.

Moreover, a huge proportion of the fruit is exported to Mexico and Australia and a good percentage of price is attained by the exporters and marketers operating in this segment. This helps in improvement of the sales and profitability of the exporters and hence the economic situation of the nation augments considerably. On the other hand, an alternate method is also utilized for exporting Avocado. For example: a huge percentage of Avocado is exported from New Zealand from Mexico and the rate is quite higher. And in case it is not feasible then a avocado orchard is developed or manufactured within the firms so as consume Avocado in a quite lower rate rather than exports. This is the most feasible decision that can be used by the citizens of New Zealand so as to satisfy the desire of consuming Avocado within a desires rate.

In the above mentioned figure of WBS, it can be seen that, firstly the Avocado is planted in domestic fields. Then after it is grown, it is presented to the customers of the local or domestic market. At a quite lowest price, the Avocado is taken by the consumers of the local market. After doing so, the products are then, sold to the supermarkets and retailing firms. The wholesellers are also presented at a quite lowest price so that it can become available to the local consumers (NewZealand, Avocado, 2020). Then, a huge percentage is exported to varied global markets in order to attain a quite higher price than in domestic market. Apart from this, a good percentage is also taken by the food distributors so that, it can be sold at a wholesale price to the distributors and then to the customers.

The above mentioned planning procedure is entirely followed so that, each and every work required to make the plantation of Avocado can be performed effectively. Doing so, proves effective for the planters to develop best quality of products of Avocado thereby augmenting the sale and profit margin of the country. On the other hand, best growth takes place as the Avocado is grown with accurate time and planting facilities. Exact time is given for spraying, picking, pruning and irrigation of Avocado so as to attain finest quality of the fruits. Only by following this process, Avocado can be manufactured and exported to various countries and a good rate can be obtained from them. Failure to maintain it cannot process accurate fruits in exact time and the proper rate cannot be obtained from the exporters. And this can result in extreme downfall of the industry in season time and hamper its sale entirely.

Q.3.

The operation includes a wide range of individual and then it can become successful in every aspect. It includes, the farmers, who could purchase the land and put the seeds in the land. Then after germination, the fruits could come up after 15 years as its lifecycle is quite huge in nature. After becoming ripe, the fruit need to be channelized with the help of channel partners like distributors, wholesalers into the godowns. Then it is purchased to the retailers so that it can be sold to the local markets. Apart from this, exporters are contacted so as to export it in various foreign regions and to do so, gate return is required and it is of $31500/ha at full output. Moreover, for land development, $18000/ha is required so that, the fruit becomes, finest in nature and taste.

This is done, so that high cost can be achieved from the market by its exporting. The full time harvesting cost amounts to 50% 3 year, 60% 4year, 90% 6 year in order to get best fruits in quality and quantity. Other than this, best qualities of fertilizers are also given in the fields. This helps to attain good quality of the fruits so that it can be preferred and satisfy the desires of the customers. In contrast, it can be stated that inadequate maintenance and quality of fertilizers can prove extremely deadly for the plants as it can get damaged by the pests and insects. As a result, the fruits cannot get developed effectively and get damaged within a small time frame. Hence, the exporters and the distributors cannot present the amount asked by the planters and therefore, the economic condition could not get enhanced (Avocadosource.com, 2011).

Thus, keeping this issue in mind, the planters always try to implement all the necessary requisites so as to attain better plantation of Avocado in the global and domestic market. Since, it is a seasonal fruit, therefore, its level of preference is extremely higher among the customers and to fulfil it, best quality is presented. Doing so, high rate can also be consumed both from the local retail players and also from exporters of diverse regions. Therefore, it is a step by step process and need to be fulfilled accurately to attain better results in the future.
