1.3. If I were the president of local chapter then I would have taken these following steps to address this issue:

  2. measure in advance about the disciplines that have to against the Joseph who is threatening the PMI or taking actions and these measures should be followed if Joseph is not listening to anyone.
  3. it is necessary to have a reporting system so that the management of the company get to know, about this issue which is going on and that Joseph is created.

There are some measures that need to implement in the office if Joseph is threating the PMI:

  1. assess and evaluate the kind of threat
  2. implements all the measures of security so that Joseph cannot harm the organization’s reputation, good will or any other thing.
  3. It is necessary to protect the confidentiality of the organization.
  4. After discussing with the employees, it is necessary to take some actions that can range from issuing a written, strict, warning, monitoring to the behavior of Joseph so that all behaviors of him can be terminated.

1.4. There are some steps that needs to follow to towards PMI ethical decision making framework that can be used to local chapter president while taking the decision about the actions that he/she have to take. These are;

Assessment 1: to make sure about all the facts and dilemma about the ethics:

  • does everything abide by the law.
  • Does the facts and dilemma aligns with the client’s and employer’s code of conduct and the code of ethics.
  • Does the facts and dilemma aligns with the PMIs code of professional conduct and the code of ethics.
  • Does the facts and dilemma aligns with the values of ethical and the surrounding culture.

If the facts and dilemma does not abide by the law then it is necessary to seek the legal counsel. Hence it is necessary to develop a prototype. Because if the prototype fails then only $4000 failure but if the complete project failed then there is a loss of $150,000. It is much much higher then the $4000.

$4000 can be tolerated by the business and it will not impact the business very much but $150,000 impacted the business very much.

4.2. Crashing is the technique that helps in fast tracking and it is not enough to save time as per the schedule. In these least resources are added to the project as much as least possible. The tradeoffs related to cost and schedule are analyzed to measure how to calculate and acquire the greatest amount of output from the least input.
