India in The Early Modern World Economy

The importance of India in growth of the modern world economy cannot be denied. Although there are some facts regarding the history of India that it has been invaded by colonial conquest t end of eighteenth century. The research included a detailed overview of the strengths that Indian economy had between sixteenth and eighteenth centuries. During this tenure the worth of the goods that were manufactured in India had high demand in various regions of the World including Asia, Africa, Europe and the America. There were many important facts that were considered in the research regarding the ways by which commercial developments lead to vulnerabilities in Indian economy and made it easy for people from overseas to conquest. East India company that had entered the region of the subcontinent with the purpose of trade, later noticed the shortcoming of the Indian rulers and decided to take control over the entire region of subcontinent. The research includes the thoughtful consideration of the aspects that led to control of East Indian Company. The explanation of the quality of the products expressed that the quality of the products including textile, spices etc. that were manufactured in Subcontinent was very good as compared to rest of the World. The goods that were produced in India at that time were of excellent quality and cotton textiles that attracted the attention of Europe was woven on light wooden looms. There were several qualities of the products that were manufactured in India like the textile manufactured in India was kept light, and portable. The research has also concluded the fact that it is very difficult to explain if India was trying to create a path towards industrialization. the other important factor that needs consideration is that India was not able to use the technology effectively in its processes. Although the technology was introduced in India and was available nationally, yet they were not able enough to use it properly and quickly in manufacturing processes. It is a fact that trade promoted economic growth in India but it also played an important role in creating destabilization in prevailing structures of royal ruling in India. Therefore, many aspects can be considered while considering the trade growth deeply in India.
