Maintaining health records is a growing concept in the healthcare systems that focus to collect all the medical health records of the individual patient for improving health quality. Documentation is an important legal requirement of the nursing profession. The NMBA guidelines standard 1.6 defines every nurse profession should maintain the medical records and assessments for patient safety.
