One of the important parts of the nursing education plan is leadership and its different aspect as they play an important role in improving the clinical practice of the health care professional which is related to a better patient health outcome. Nurses in the clinical practice are considered to be competent to deliver accurate care to improve the interaction with the patient, peers and organization members. One of the studies presented by Ha & Pepin (2018) added that Clinical leadership is a skill that needs to be nurtured by the nurses to develop the competency to the work and improve the professional practise to improve the patient experience. The clinical leadership is considered to be important in accurately evaluate the situation and collaborate with the team to work in a professional context to deliver efficient care to the patient. Another study presented by Stanley & Stanley (2018) discussed that Clinical Leadership helps to improve the expertise of the health care professional involved in the care that is important to increase the care which is important to increase patient satisfaction. Clinical leadership is important to address the professional competency concerning the clinical practice and help the other to understand the right clinical practise pattern. Clinical leadership in nursing also help the nurse to empower the team and help them to develop their vision for future practise which lead to better care of the patient and increased commitment to work. Clinical leadership of the nurses help them to correlate their professional and personal values in the care which is important to effectively care the patient.

Three skills are important to develop the clinical leadership which includes direction, capability and evaluate which are important to effectively decide the situation (Brown et al., 2016). The findings reveal that clinical leadership play an important role in the nursing profession as it helps to improve the patient care with better job commitment of the nurses that is good for both of the individual in the care.

Autonomy

Ethical principles are considered to play an important role in the health care practise as it improves the safety and quality of the health care services. Autonomy is effective in improving the individual nurse ability to critically analyse the situation and make the decision to improve practise. One of the studies presented by Both-Nwabuwe et al. (2019) autonomy is considered to be an effective approach in empowering the individual to use their ability to improve the practise which is effective in increasing job satisfaction. The autonomy of the nurses helps them to improve their self-management ability to deal with the clinical practise issue to improve the quality of the practice. There are three types of autonomy that are used by the nurses to improve the clinical practice it includes professional autonomy, group task-based autonomy and individual task-based autonomy. Professional autonomy is considered to be the ability of the nurses to take the right decision concerning the clinical practice to improve the quality of work by acting concerning the professional understanding of the nurses. On the other hand, group task base or individual based autonomy state that helps them to improve their work situation by reconsidering the skills.

Moreover study presented by Bonfada et al., (2018) added that nurses autonomy improve their power to deal with the odds in the clinical practise and justify their clinical practise to improve the patient health outcome. Autonomy helps the nurse to evaluate their professional understanding that is required to decide on the approach used to deliver the health care services to the patient. The nurse's autonomy is improved in the positive working environment and it improves the organization working pattern with performance concerning the patient health outcome. The nurse’s autonomy helps them to feel powerful and work dedicatedly by utilizing their clinical knowledge and skills in selecting the right approach of service provided to them. On the other hand, the study presented by Marañón & Pera (2018) added that nurses autonomy is considered to be advanced health care practise as it improves the nurse's contribution in the decision making related to the patient care. Nursing autonomy helps those to improve the independent working practice of the individual which lead to better professional results concerning the care of the patient. The autonomy in the nursing practises improves the nurse’s credibility for the consequences of the action that will directly improve their working practises which eventually improve the quality of care delivered to the client.

Innovation and Change

Innovation and change in the health care are expected to be incomplete if there is lack of right implementation that can help accurately judge the effectiveness of the change. Nurses are considered to be a major workforce in the clinical practice which increases their need to get involve in the innovation process. The study presented by Noles et al. (2019) discussed that effective leadership of the nurses in the clinical practise demanding their equal contribution in framing and implementing the changing in the practice to improve the patient care quality and safety. Nurses are expected to aware of the micro and macro environment in the health care setting which improves their ability to effectively evaluate the innovation process and its need in the clinical setting. The issue in the clinical practise sometimes not increase complication for the patient but it can also negatively impact over the nurses thus innovation help the nurses to identify the issue and plan change in practice which can reduce the negative impact.

Another study presented by Everett et al. (2013) added that nurse role in the innovation of the clinical practises help in quality improvement of the health care services which directly improve the organization performance. The effective leadership in the nursing practise helping the nurses to frame the vision for the innovation practise that help them to use their full extent in the clinical practise quality improvement which is important for better patient satisfaction. Nurses’ role in the innovation is considered to play an important role as they are the main source of delivering the care that increases their credibility to justify the quality and safety of care. The innovation in the clinical practise provide the opportunity to the nurse to use their knowledge and skills in the purposeful way which lead to the better commitment of the health care services toward patient health care need which lead to improved patient outcome. Moreover study presented by Jackson et al. (2014) added that changing health care demand innovation in the practice to improve the clinical practice which can address the need of the patient. The front line role of the nurses increases their credibility to involve in the innovation process to increase the accuracy of the clinical practice which will lead to better delivery of the health care services to the patient to improve the recovery time of the patient.
