For this question, a qualitative study is conducted with an inductive research approach. Interpretivism is the most suitable paradigm because the followers of interpretivism use the experiences for constructing and interpreting the understanding of the data (Pham, 2018). An inductive research approach is used in which the general flow here is a collection of information, data analysis, and finally then the development of theories.The research design in a study is associated with the selection of methods and techniques to be used in a study. This is because randomized control trials and surveys are conducted with the patients that undergo music therapy to evaluate/measure outcomes like improved cognitive, behavioral, and other skills in dementia patients.
