Analysis of the case scenario	There is no introduction and analysis of the case scenario and the report directly starts with the important factors.	Expert’s report has clearly analysed the case scenario which gives a clear understanding of what is actually going to happen in the report.
Effective teamwork	The flow of report is effective and good as it is started from where the teamwork was actually reported in the case scenario. It has shown how Monica, the student nurse and Chanika has helped out Katie in doing the basic procedure that shows an effective teamwork. Effective leadership by Kellie in instructing Katie, Monica, and Chanika.	According to the expert’s report the team is supportive and cooperative as the team members were helping out each other. Katie’s contribution has shown in expert’s report clearly. The report also mentioned about Chanika that she did not appear while listening to handover but at the same time she highlighted about the pain relief. However, in expert’s report Monica was mentioned nowhere while discussing about the teamwork. Overall in expert’s response the teamwork showed in the case scenario could be considered as a good teamwork and leadership.
Effective communication	Closed loop communication has been discussed in the report and proper evidences from literature have been given to support how effective it was in the case scenario. However, no discussion of verbal and non-verbal communication has been seen in the report.	An excellent communication both verbal and non verbal has been seen by Katie and every aspect of it has been mentioned in the report clearly. The way Kellie as a registrar has done her work very effectively with communication has also been depicted in the report. The report has also discussed about the closed loop communication that happened in the case scenario.
Ineffective communication	Active listening is an important factor of effective communication and it has been clearly discussed how continuously speaking to one another without listening creates chaos.	Ineffective communication regarding the case scenario has not been mentioned anywhere in the report.

Reflection of Dolly Comparative Report

Complexities in nursing practice can get easy by the facilitation of effective teamwork, communication, and leadership. This task has made me understood how interpersonal communication and teamwork play a major role in achieving patient outcomes. The responses given by the expert specifically the way the expert has started his report by firstly analyzing the case study and focusing on the topic has depicted the concise and significant role of effective communication and teamwork. However, I have also understood that these two aspects are interrelated to each other. This is so because, effective teamwork leads to the facilitation of effective communication and this results in achieving the goal of patient safety and optimal patient outcome (Babiker et al., 2014). I have understood that the quality of teamwork is directly linked with the quality as well as the safety of care delivery systems (Rosen et al., 2018). From this comparison of reports, I have developed a deep understanding of how ineffective communication creates chaos and hinders the active facilitation of the care services.

Impact on My Practice

In my future course of practice, I would implement non-verbal communication along with the verbal communication as according to Giacco, Anguera, &Salcuni (2020) it has been stated that both verbal and non-verbal aspects of communication and helps in building up the therapeutic alliance which will help me in determining the interactive regulation as well as in conveying information in an effective manner between patient and healthcare providers. An interprofessional relationship is a key to achieve patient goals and to avoid conflicts and to build this relationship and to work in a team as a team communication is important because, effective communication is considered as a key competency for effective collaboration with colleagues and patients (Busari, Mori, & Duits, 2017). Enhancing my communication skills and interprofessional teamwork will also going to help me to be optimistic whenever it will come to ask questions, share ideas, or any concerns without any type of hesitation with the other team members. And most importantly will help me in discussing the potential solutions to any arising conflicts in my future course of practice without being hesitant (Van der Haar et al., 2017). By implicating this skill, my potency and skills will also get enhanced and not only mine but of the other team members also. As by working together, we will develop ourselves professionally. This will also lead to workplace satisfaction.
