Gallup strength finder is used to foster an interpersonal communication process of an individual. In this assignment, I have used Gallups strengths finder personality test to identify my personal strengths and psychology. Strength finder psychometric instrument was developed with a motive to identify the strengths of the individual leaders through a small test. I took this test for the very first time in my life and realised that the test has the power and potential to change my entire life.
Through this framework, I identified that my leadership quality consists of restoration, communication, responsibility, adaptability and connectedness. I realised that restorative strengths help me to analyse the problem and find one or more solution to solve them. It is because of the restorative strength that I never get depressed when something gets broken or when things do not work as planned. Instead, I try to find solutions to my problems. My effective communication skill is my strength. It helps me to share my ideas and information with others easily. I even realised that I am a responsible person. I am committed to my words and try my best to do things I am responsible for. The result helped me to understand that I even am even acquired with values such as honesty and loyalty. I was also able to know about the fact that I have an adaptable nature. It takes very few seconds for me to adjust myself according to the situations. Moreover, I am easily able to connect with things easily. I was able to realise why I always try to search for a reason behind everything. All these qualities contribute to my leadership behaviour and skills (He amp Hutson, 2016). I have a unique ability to connect things with a deeper meaning. I decided to further enhance these skills so that I can reach the pinnacle of success.
It was identified from the studies that strengths of an individual play a very important role in growth and development. Thus, a person or a leader must possess some important characteristics to leverage maximum benefits from it (Leih amp Teece, 2016). It was also identified that results of the test were reliable and can help an individual in gaining confidence to compete with others especially in the real world. I analysed that psychometric test is the best instrument to measure the knowledge, skills, abilities, attitudes and personality test. The surprising thing which I recognised was that I am good at so many things that others were lacking. It enhanced my leadership skills and helped me to grow undoubtedly in areas where I never ever thought of.
This assessment helped to know about positive psychology and neuroscience. It is used to study structure, development, genetic and functions of the brain. It also helps me in making the most effective decisions of my life. It has helped me to understand myself and how to deal with my problems positively (Soria amp Stubblefield, 2015). The strengths identified through this assessment filled a new enthusiasm in my life. I started looking at things in a more positive manner. It was an optimal study to focus on my happiness and strengths.
