With client

The very first thing I would do is to protect her privacy (cover her up) which is a matter of great concern. I would calm her down and apologize for the rude behavior of my colleague. I will also tell her if she wants she can complain to the supervisor.

With colleague

The care worker was not complying with the principles of duty of care and legal responsibilities as the worker was rude with the resident, doors, and curtains were opened and privacy and dignity were not maintained. The worker was harassing her. I would immediately appropriately help the resident. In this case, I will report this matter to the supervisor in private (Srinivasulu, Dedipya & Mrudula, 2018).

What steps would you take to report any breach to standard procedures or event situation of concern to appropriate personnel

The steps are:

All types of clinical or cooperate incident must be reported verbally that too within 8 hours with a document submitted in written form within 24 hours

In this case, I will not tell the care staff that I will not share what I have seen with others and will not make a promise. In the case of a situation associated with immoral behavior and abuse that must be reported compulsorily. I will report this matter to the supervisor privately. The organizational approach is to fill out an incident/accident form, take appropriate action, provide further training and education on abuse and care responsibilities, and assist everyone in maintaining respect (Dickens & Litsky, 2018).

I will show respect by following the guidelines and trying to implement them in our work practice.
