Comparison of Three CSOs in Terms of Their Characteristics

The organizations that had been reflected in the first assignment were Bush Heritage Australia, Kyeema Foundation, and the Australian Koala Foundation. Three aspects got highlighted here that is funding, values, and volunteers. In the context of funding, the dependency of Bush Australia on both the donations as well as the individual partnerships turns out to be higher through which the cultural enhancement had been uplifted. However, this particular organization had faced certain challenging situations in the context of protection and landscape conservation in an effective way (Hudson, 2009). However, other CSOs like Koala Foundation and Kyeema Foundations had been successful enough in preserving the natural resources. Kyeema Foundation on the other hand has tried to manage the funding through the Australian NG Co-operation.

Concerning values, Bush Heritage got itself actively involved with the traditional owners through making active collaboration with the traditional owners and the stakeholders. The Australian Koala Organization had also managed themselves in conserving the Koalas and Kyeema foundations as well had developed themselves certain strategic vision and managerial goals which had created a good impact on their management of the problems along with a certain good approach for the future (Koala Foundation, 2020).

The volunteers in Bush Heritage Australia works with around 1000 people based on which adequate resources can be easily provided so that the work can be carried down successfully. On the other hand, in the case of the Koala Foundation, the volunteers always feel dedicated and enthusiastic to get assisted in various areas and are also driving through the passion to save Koalas. Again CSO, the Kyeema Foundation through Australian Volunteers for International Development has made a successful contribution to achieving the future goals of the Kyeema Foundation by working through different diverse people with different skill sets (Kyeema Foundation, 2020).

Critical Analysis of The Characteristics of the CSOs

In the context of the stakeholder analysis, it can be critically stated that Bush Australia had informal working structures and the communication with the employees and also collaborate projects with the maters of common interest. However, as per the managerial context, Bush Australia needs to have good advisory panels through which it can be able to coordinate the strategic planning preparation for the future, and hence this will create a positive impact on the CSO. It will in turn achieve greater governmental procedures with effective investigation procedures by following the Privacy Act 1988 principles.

Again, for the management of the Koala Foundation, the management was lacking in certain Adoption programs where they should look for these volunteers and the stakeholders who will be having a keen interest and also skilled enough in the Heritage Conservation. In this aspect, the CSO needs to ensure certain financial viability among the stakeholders through which it can be able to perform well in the future and can also be able to undertake certain legal and ethical responsibilities ad duties. This will create a positive impact on the CSO in saving the Koalas to become extinct and hence trustworthiness and values can be developed gradually.

Kyeema Foundation, on the other hand, can be critically put forward by stating that it should maintain the transparencies and the openness within its CSO at the time of dealing with the volunteers and the stakeholders, The employees should feel free in performing their work through positive and participative leadership approach which will positively affect the organization to achieve sustainability and goodwill in the future. The annual reporting need to be made to the higher authorities along with reporting to the governmental agencies and also to the Australian Charities and the Non-for Profits Commission (Hudson, 2009).

Effectiveness of The Critical Discussion Made

Through the critical discussion that has been made, it can be stated that this is effective enough based on which the same form of CSOs whose primary aims are to save the environment and to lead a sustainable path, could be categorized through their governance and managerial aspects. From those two points, the differences in the organizations concerning their working styles had been reflected as well (Hudson, 2009). The purpose behind this is to visualize their different approaches, funding sources, and the functioning of the board of members along with the stakeholder analysis so that the problems can be identified and CSO can able to perform effectively and professionally in the future and hence goodwill and the trustworthiness can be easily guaranteed.
