Case Study: Mazon.com

Mazon is one of the companies that operate in the financing sector where it provides factoring services to the client since the year 1976. The company has till date covered a number of sectors and industries including business services, staffing, oilfield, construction and staffing and is considered to be one of the oldest companies in Southwest (Mazon, 2020a). Mazon offers month to month contract to the clients with an added benefit such as no cancellation fee if the client opts to leave out of the contract.

The company makes use of its website to add value to the experience of its clients. These can be understood in the following section:

  1. Description of the services- The company has effectively used its website to offer details about the services that it offers to the market. Each of the services that the company offers is highlighted on a separate page on the website. This gives an opportunity to the potential customers through each of the pages and further understands the operations of the company in detail.

  2. Customer care services- The company relies on its website to address the queries and the issues that the customer face with the services or any other aspect that is linked and related to the company and the services that it offers (Mazon, 2020a). The customer care services as offered by the company through the website provides an opportunity for the customer to interact with the customer care executives round the clock and also through various modes of communication such as on-call or mail and many others.

  3. Newsletter- The company further makes use of its website to offer the services of the Mazon’s newsletter (Mazon, 2020c). The newsletter gives an opportunity to the potential customers to go through the latest information and activities taking place in the company including the new contracts, any successful delivery of services or even the adoption of new and innovative services or practices by the company which can further add to the value to the customer experience.

  4. FAQ- FAQs of frequently asked questions is another way in which the company makes use of its website to offer its customers a good experience with buying the company's services. The website has a separate page in which the company has highlighted the frequently asked questions. This page provides the potential customer to go through the most common questions that have been asked from the company in the past and further get answers for such questions as well (Mazon, 2020b). This way the customers are able to resolve some of the queries that arise in their mind at their own end.

  5. Referral programs- The company has made effective use of its website by demonstrating the referral program through a separate page on the website. Through this page, the company invites customers for the referral program where it provides information about the prospective areas from where customers can be attracted which includes advertising, apparel, construction, distribution, delivery services, oil and gas industries, telecommunication and the staffing services (Mazon, 2020d). This helps the customers in understanding the benefits of becoming a part of the referral program and further adds to the experience that such a customer has while being a part of the company.

All the above-mentioned ways enable the company to add value to the experience that a customer gains while associating with the company and availing its services. This indicates the strength of its digital presence where the company has relied upon its website to attract and retain its customers over a longer period of time.
