The introduction of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) in healthcare can be questioned by users with different aspects. This article explores the discrepancies among the nurses and doctors in the reaction to the introduction and usage of EMRs in health care settings, and influences the expected integrity of the results in it. EMRs are commonly adopted in health care organizations, and the factors influencing the development process in terms of the outcomes are great. The adoption of EMRs proceeds gradually, given the anticipated advantages of EMRs. The article also carries an assumption that an effective introduction of an EMR increases the quality of patient data but this fact is still not much researched. The implementation process allows nurses to modify their work habits and they can face drawbacks like lack of control. The evidence that the EMR 's characteristics help nurses (ease of use and task alignment) and have a greater impact on the quality of data in the EMR and timely entry of data. The source used is MEDLIN and the keywords used are digital health records AND nursing AND uses.

Escalation prevention potential (EPP), is the organization's ability in the prevention or navigation of implementing a process which does not have the required standards, can help stop an institution from losing money and time on project delays. This article discusses the effective execution of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) corresponds to EPP and evaluate the organization factors responsible for the connection. The introduction of EMRs shows that it is difficult to evaluate an EMR 's objective added value, and that user opposition or other obstacles can obstruct its potential benefits. Nevertheless, it could be a great way to boost organizational accountability and enable and include all nurses of the hospital in achieving its organizational objectives. The nurses are likely to have a stronger relation to their work and hence are stronger able to treat their patients effectively by EMRs. This could indicate that aspect of the connection between EMRs and team effectiveness may be explained by other, more task-oriented, and cultural aspects. the source used to search the article in MEDLINE.

The preferences of users of electronic medical records in hospitals: Quantifying the relative importance of barriers and facilitators of an innovation. Implementation Science : IS, 9, 69. Doi: https://doi.org/10.1186/1748-5908-9-69

Electronic medical records (EMRs) are increasingly being introduced in hospitals, due to potential advantages in terms of quality and protection of treatment. However, the processes of implementation are not irrelevant and are slow than required. Some of the EMR adoption obstacles and facilitators are known but the significance of these variables is still undefined. This article quantifies the comparative value of established EMR obstacles and mediators, faced by the hospital nurses and doctors). A discrete selection experiment was performed between nurses and doctors wherein the information was collected from 148 and 150 nurses and doctors respectively, the result demonstrated that increased flexibility of the choice had been the component with the largest perceived significance in their choice for using an EMR. The variations in priorities between doctors and nurses indicated that two users have different requirements all through the innovation process. Health authorities can use this knowledge to plan patterns for execution to match the requirements of diverse target users. The search source was NCBI and the search term was the use of digital health records in nursing.
