Catholic Social Teaching Principles

Catholic Social Teaching is based on the conviction that God has a plan for creation, a kingdom of peace, love, and justice. It maintains that God has a special place for each of us in the world. Catholic Social Teaching is not limited to “spiritual” or Sunday activities, it considers all aspects of our lives, starting with what we pray for and how we live as responsible citizens of the world (McKenna, 2019).

This study will subject to the novel DOCAT: Social Teaching by the Catholic was in favor of Youth. Social education by the Catholic was called the best held in reserve secret. DOCAT is subjecting secrets to young people around the globe (Matthews, 2019). Through its beautiful social upbringing, it was active in revealing teachings describing the beauty of the church. Highly illustrated, DOCAT is practical as well as the inspiring attribute of youth cataclysm. This helps young people learn as well as live Catholic social studies as considered in the form of special features in context to the book. A popular question along with the answer seen in context to YOUCAT style, are many colorful illustrations with young people along with others.

Pope Benedict, Pope Francis, along with other saints alphabets that address difficult questions about social justice as well as related issues, including St. John Paul II, Mother Teresa's remarks, are considered inspirational as well as insightful quotes. It is written by means of the Church leader’s help, including businessmen, social workers, and leaders, as well as young people. It is instrumental in guiding young people to build conscience on social in addition to political issues as well as to take Catholic action (Patheos.com, 2016).

The two principles that I thought were underlying in this regard are The Common Good and the Correlation of Responsibilities along with Rights. Common good: as described by means of John Paul II, Common good involves as human dignity based basic principle that eventually leads to solidarity. Since individuals are created as social beings, individual rights in the context of the promotion of the people must be experienced. An outlook based on long-term Christian, in contrast to a biblical, patriarchal in addition to medieval thought can only be found within a framework that does not consider the common good as well as the poor’s needs. Pope John Paul II was influential in updating the suffix that further is counting based on the poor’s account needs.

The reality of the economy is addressed. The right along with the duty to participate in society together was well intended for the good of everyone, especially the poor in addition to the weak. Without participation in all social spheres, such as in the case of dictatorships where the state bans all voluntary organizations including the individual benefits those are offered through a social organization cannot be realized. People possess participation right in organizations that are necessary for the favor of human achievement (Rpbooks.co.uk, 2016).

The Responsibilities along with Correlation of Rights: the spectrum of human rights in addition to related responsibilities lays the foundation of human dignity and needs to be protected. Through the implementation of interdependent rights along with responsibilities, participation is facilitated by society in all spheres of the social system. Food, clothing, shelter, rest, medical care and necessary social services that are necessary for everyone and has the right to earn money for their life’s betterment: the determination as well as steadfastness of the common man to be committed as is to be said that the first duty is maintaining of solidarity. All rights have a related responsibility and are considered important to be seen. As a consequence, rights claimed by those, forget their promise to show complete negligence in using them in their affairs, are the ones who build with one hand as well as destroy with the other (Wolcott, 2018).

Those individual political rights determine the state’s boundaries for instance freedom related to association along with expression. All individuals also own a number of economic rights, the right to work limits the market logic like those of fair wages, humanitarian work conditions as well as healthcare. The dignities of work are including the worker’s rights related to Work rights along with their responsibilities. Workers' rights are often important to profit the economy in which, there is a need for ethical analysis. The people must be served, not in the otherwise economy. Not only, it is God's constant participation in the creation but also it does work to help people making a living (Catholicworldreport.com, 2016).

DOCAT includes quotes that are created by Catholic leaders along with the saints, that include St. Pope John Paul II, Pope Francis, Mother Teresa, along with Pope Benedict; Part of Francis' masterful teaching associated with Catholic leaders as well as the saints. In addition to the important predecessor’s proclamations for their immoderation in context to the four principles associated with Catholic social education: the human-based personal dignity, the grant, the common good, as well as that of solidarity.

So many people can be helped in context to the social doctrine associated with the church. A team that comprises of Cardinals Christoph Schönborn along with that of Reinhard Marx started working to spread the liberation’s message associated with Catholic socialism in the young people’s eyes and around the world. They have collaborated with renowned academics as well as the project associate (young people). Young Catholic women, as well as men, got their best pictures. Other young people who were discussed in context to the text, gave their questions in addition to suggestions, as well as confirmed the fact that the text was easily understood. The calls from social doctrine meant for "participation" starting from the beginning are applied as an important associated principle (Pennington, 2019). The great models in relation to a Christian activity DOCAT have eventually developed to become efficient.

The context which was mentioned in the 19th century is been called by the Catholic social education system today. With that we saw evolving of industrialization, the emergence of brutal capitalism evolved: a kind of people destroying the economy. In starving factories, dishonest industrialists have come to the rural poor to work for wages in mines. The children were no longer born and were made to run coal as slaves and were sent underground (Rousseau, 2017). Christian’s greatest promises, that are offered to help the needy, on the other, they were noticing that the amount not thought to be enough.

As a result, they came up with the idea of fighting injustice both socially and politically. It is a matter of fact to ask whether this book is powerful enough. Despite being a target for young people, everyone along with each one can be benefitted from any of the volumes. It is considered to be that much relevant, as well as important. As in my recommendation, anyone reading this review finds it significant to a text that is recommending it to. Less fortunate’s are to be reached out and must be considered as a duty to them and show them their existence’s meaning (Rpbooks.co.uk, 2016).

I thought this book was dense and informative and it's very inspiring. Not quite a fan of how the book was structured but what’s important is the contents. Now that I think about it, this can be a great handbook for social activism. Also, I'm amused by the flip animation drawn at the bottom right corner of every page.
