  • The hierarchy of contents is effective enough to ensure that visitors can easily navigate and understand where they are located within the website, for example, in the website of amazon, the hierarchy of contents can be seen in order, and context of a new customer. The options of sign in, new to amazon queries, and trending sales signifies the importance of hierarchy that the company considers in their website designs.
  • Communication techniques of Amazon's website are visual rhetoric that signifies communicating things the way customers want to see or view, for instance, home furnishing items categories in the website, kitchen needs, clothes for upcoming winter are rhetoric communication technique that e-commerce websites use to engage visitors within their websites and help them make buying decisions effectively.

Visual communication design of a logo:

Logos of organizations play a key role in the impressive outline of visual communication and design of the information that is created in a simple way for the audience to swiftly and easily comprehend information without the use of excessive written text (Hsun and Jie, 2020). The principles of visual communication design in context to the logo are as follows:

  • By taking the example of Amazon's logo, the principles of visual communication design in its logo signify that use of black colour with regular font makes it simple and sophisticated in the viewer's eye. Besides the texture of the logos, colours seem to be glossy that attracts eyes in context to organizational effectiveness.
  • The main focus of the logo was on the arrow coloured in yellow pointing from a to z depicts a hidden message that creates a uniqueness in the logo. The messages indicate that products ranging from a to z, everything is available at Amazon which signifies a clear and rhetoric communication towards the customers.
  • The design elements used in the visual communication of Amazon are effective and tone used is bright that helps attract viewers and the communication technique used by the company through yellow arrow portrays smile in consumers face that signifies rhetoric communication method.

Alike poster, the front page or the cover page of a magazine plays a crucial role in determining the capability of design in fetching viewers and public attention rapidly (Lin et al., 2020). The principles, design elements, and communication techniques used to ensure its effectiveness.

  • Undertaking the instance of Entrepreneur magazine of 2020 edition, the colours and fonts used in the publication design is eye-catchy and fetches viewers attention by showcasing a few texts of the included contents that are interesting to viewers.
  • The communication technique used in the magazine is didactic that primarily focus on educating its viewers on terms of news and research articles that are interesting towards public or targeted audience such young minds, and working professionals in the case of Entrepreneur magazine (Entrepreneur, 2020).
  • The texture and point of using the Sterling K. Brown in the cover page indicate the intention of the publication to add more interest by involving an expert to narrate the understanding effectively (Entrepreneur, 2020).

There are several factors associated with the visual communication design process. It effectively helps to solve a problem by portraying a clear and concise message in the form of graphical representation that helps to understand the message more profoundly and precisely. Thus, it has been understood that designers of such communication items approach strategically to problem-solving and materialize designs in such a way that it transforms to be the best fit solution.
